Samples

Samples is the laboratory companion to Qvin's sample collection kits. It is built for laboratory staff who receive, register and prepare Q-Pad kits returned by study participants. It is not intended for patients or consumers. With Samples, accessioning staff and laboratory scientists can: - Scan a kit's barcode to receive it and record its condition on arrival - Register each collection device in the kit and document it with photographs - Choose the preparation protocol for the ordered panels and print tube and aliquot labels on the laboratory's label printers - Keep track of kits waiting for preparation, analysis and biobanking, and of biobanked kits due for disposal - Follow the laboratory's weekly activity and open tasks from the Overview screen Samples shows no test results, health measurements or medical advice. It records what the laboratory receives and does, so that every step of a kit's journey through the laboratory is traceable. Access is provisioned by Qvin.
