Cannot Manage Display on iOS
Literally had to purchase a cheap android phone to send content to my EMDX display. Would not work on iOS.

i don’t know if the product or the app sucks but constantly loosing connection
Garbage
Every app update gets worse and worse. I have 4 of these panels and all of them are literally useless if using IOS. Whoever is working on this app should be fired. I used AI to create my own working app in a couple hours… yet Samsung can’t figure it out in over a year?! I’m not even a professional coder!

Samsung E-Paper Display mit iOS nicht nutzbar
Leider funktioniert die App nicht mit dem Gerät. Es wird keine Verbindung hergestellt. Zwar wird das Gerät erkannt, aber jegliche Verbindungsversuche scheitern. Schon etwas erbärmlich von Samsung und schädlich für jeden Händler des Geräts, was auch immerhin 1200-1300 Euro kostet!
Keine Verbindung möglich
Leider muss ich mich meinem Vorredner anschließen - diese App funktioniert nicht mit iOS Geräten. Es kann keinerlei Verbindung hergestellt werden.

Keine Verbindung zum EM32DX
Leider kann ich mit der App weder mein iPhone 17 Pro Max noch mein iPad M4 Pro mit dem Display verbinden. Samsung Kundendienst reagiert leider auch nicht.
Update 02.12.25: Samsung Kundendienst hat geantwortet. Das Problem ist bekannt und soll mit dem nächsten App Update behoben werden.

Unusable - won’t connect
App sees the device and connects Bluetooth to configure network settings but app will not connect to the device to WiFi or hotspot. Generic error message returned. Samsung support unable to assist. So the device is unusable without app connection other than loading via flash drive. My guess is Samsung has focus on android connectivity over iPhone…and it shows.

Something went wrong
Unboxing the EM32DX is all you can do with the display because the App doesn’t connect the device to WiFi. Tried to networks plus a hot spot to continue to receive the “something went wrong error.” Re-boxing and returning my displays.
Garbage
App is buggy, updates delete all your content, etc. Whoever made this should be fired.

Buggy image adjustment
Can‘t get image with native resolution from app to Display: it is alway enforced to scale the image. The aspect ratio of 16:9 or 9:16 leeds to an letterbox image on the Display. Only with freestyle ratio you can reach something like Fullscreen images. The same pictures attached to usb are presented correct.
Waking up the Display from the app sometimes fails. As even waking up with the power Button doesn‘t work it seams to be a display trouble. ( display is set to stay on an external powered. If it got stuck you need to restart the display by longpress)

The best
The best app I have ever used the connection is great it connects within 5 to 10 seconds. It’s fast reliable and the app is just really good. You can make templates fast I like all the word fonts. Thank you Samsung for making this app so good. It work great 👍🏻
