This app is unusable with the amount of ads. For 7$ a week you could literally buy a replacement remote. On top of that, every time I swipe out of the app I have to reconnect to the tv. By the time it reconnects the ad I was going to skip is over. I only use this for controlling my tv on youtube, and even for doing that it sucks even with the premium trial.

I understand the free version having ads…but if ads keep popping up after pressing buttons every 3 times…it kills the app rating…
Forced upgrade
Ads every time I try to use it at about 30 second intervals. Makes it impossible to just go to Netflix or YouTube and click a video. Just tried and was interrupted 4 TIMES while trying to open YouTube and search (all in a matter of 60 seconds… but I have to wait 15 seconds for the ad to finish and show and “x” to get out. DO NOT GET UNLESS YOU WANT TO UPGRADE. nothing is free.

Fios hdmi does not work
Many functions wok on my Samsung qled but control of hdmi connection to Fios set top does not work. Works from Samsungs physical remote. Cancelling app.

i like it but i dont like how after i click a button something pops up on my screen.

Too Many Ads. But at least it works. Easy connection to TV unlike other apps. It doesn’t even require your original TV remote, which other apps require. Easily discovers TV on network, connects immediately, and functions seamlessly. The ads, however, are ridiculously excessive. Every few button pushes requires several seconds of ads. Very inconvenient.

i look everywhere around the house i cannot so i use the remote on the app

It's amazing! 🤩,but needs an update.
I love the app! When my remote is lost I just know what app to use, I recommend this to you!!! But creators of this app and please read, please update the on and off button, the app it’s useful to change your Chanel or what your watching, but the off button…. Is just an off button. It is be useless if you couldn’t find your remote cuz you can’t turn it on! So please change this to turn off AND on, but if there’s an issue or problem you guys faced on trying to do that, just say so I will understand. Although , but I do recommend it to pranksters 😉. Thanks! Btw I love this app and please download it!

Predatory First Impression
Before letting me try the app at all it tries to enroll me in a WEEKLY subscription for “Pro” features. Only after opting out was I presented with annual and perpetual purchase terms. The only way past the enrollment screen is an intentionally understated X in the top right corner.
Beyond that setup was easy and everything appears to work as advertised. In app advertising takes over the entire screen every fifth key press, which gets annoying fast, but if you just need to turn off your screen to get your kids attention it will do the trick.
The aggressive advertising and deceptive onboarding process make this hard to recommend, but the presence of a perpetual purchase option and the easy connection process save it from a 1-star.

I downloaded because my original remote did not work.
I was not made aware that if I turned off the tv with my app , I could only turn it on again with the original remote!
So basically download this app is useless
