really bad UI
the redesign is pretty horrible. it takes too long to load and trying to find something within the app takes too long. it feels like the app was designed without any proper ux input.
Bring back the old app
Bring back the old app. What happened to the foghorn after each TD? I just downloaded this Australia update and there's no sourdough Sam AI lol. Garbage app.
Embarrassing
Can’t believe that an org as great as the 49ers could have such a terrible app experience. Takes forever to load. Then tells me to watch game live. Then a floating 49ers helmet followed by a blank video player. Could argue this is the most embarrassing thing to happen to the Niners this week. Just a bit of advice… instead of hiring an accounting firm to build this, how about an actual expert in the mobile space. Second, the reviews are clearly fake (paid for) because there is no way any app user could give this more than one star. Go Niners!!

Too many questions and poor navigation
The logins to NFL network, the series of questions, and the layout is a pain. All I want is 49er news and follow game day progress. They made it way too complicated.

Having a hard time staying logged in. Requires connections and suggestions to download other apps,such as Ticketmaster ect just to see certain updates. Interface is not functional enough.
Better late than never!
Took them a few years, but they finally figured it out—this is easily the best version yet. Ready for an incredible 2026 season. Bang Bang Niner Gang!
Logging in
The app sucks. I keep getting sent back to one time authentication after punching in the 4 digit number. The member badge does not update from black to red and gold.
Awful app
The worst app ever used, it got stuck on the onboarding for whatever reason, the message “False start , access denied..” appears every time and can’t continue with the process. Please create an app that works is the only thing we need.
Gets worse every year
Terrible setup, extremely cumbersome to manage tickets, takes forever to load, doesnt sync to ticketmaster easily and often wont allow access to all items to view, transfer or sell. The worst
Connection Issues
Tickets, wallet, other features do not work or connect. I’ve installed and uninstalled many times.
App not working
App doesn’t work with anything I click on. I can’t even see the schedule. Everything has an error code. I use to love this app now I have to delete it. I’ve tried for the last two days

I think it’s ridiculous that I’ve had this app for 4 years and now I can’t even get into it because my phone isn’t able to download iOS 18. I’ve been a Niners fan for over 50 years and now I can’t open the app and that SUCKS.
Unusable
They added a bunch of unnecessary AI features and now I can’t use the app on my older phone.
(When I open the app it tells me that I must update, then the App Store tells me I need a newer iOS than I have to proceed with the update. This is the only app I have ever seen that doesn’t allow an older phone to use at all.)

Worst app ever
How will we ever get into the games this year?
Absolute abomination
App is too focused on creating virtual jerseys and other gimmicks than providing accurate info
Free agency tracker is missing a ton of people (ie signing greenlaw or resigning wallow)
The player cards used to have detailed roster stats but now they think 4 boxes can summarize a player
The front page carousel (which you’re forced to open too) rather than showing the top most recent news just reiterates most of what you’re going to find on the tabs. What’s the point of duplication that?
The website has this info fine so it’s not an issue of it being updated but that the app shows incomplete info which is a big nono if you want to be reliable
Wish there was an easier link to roster news.
Wish we had access to transactions
Wish there were more Backswipe gestures
Wish if we chose not to follow players and just wanted all news, that the news tab would not just show an empty placeholder but default to the general news
Wish we could choose a default tab such as the team page
Wish we could click on the coaches to reach their bio like we can on web
Wish we could sort roster additionally by jersey number or by position (all these things we can still do on website)

Love the app update!!
The old app was basic, generic, and honestly super hard to navigate. The new app update is INSANE! Not only is it super easy to find what I want to find, the design of the app is really cool and engaging. LOVED making my jersey and sharing my trading card with my family. Can’t wait to see how I can use the app when I go to a game this season!!
