Unusable
They added a bunch of unnecessary AI features and now I can’t use the app on my older phone.
(When I open the app it tells me that I must update, then the App Store tells me I need a newer iOS than I have to proceed with the update. This is the only app I have ever seen that doesn’t allow an older phone to use at all.)

Absolute abomination
App is too focused on creating virtual jerseys and other gimmicks than providing accurate info
Free agency tracker is missing a ton of people (ie signing greenlaw or resigning wallow)
The player cards used to have detailed roster stats but now they think 4 boxes can summarize a player
The front page carousel (which you’re forced to open too) rather than showing the top most recent news just reiterates most of what you’re going to find on the tabs. What’s the point of duplication that?
The website has this info fine so it’s not an issue of it being updated but that the app shows incomplete info which is a big nono if you want to be reliable
Wish there was an easier link to roster news.
Wish we had access to transactions
Wish there were more Backswipe gestures
Wish if we chose not to follow players and just wanted all news, that the news tab would not just show an empty placeholder but default to the general news
Wish we could choose a default tab such as the team page
Wish we could click on the coaches to reach their bio like we can on web
Wish we could sort roster additionally by jersey number or by position (all these things we can still do on website)

Totally destroyed the app. It won’t come off the powered by screen.

Love the app update!!
The old app was basic, generic, and honestly super hard to navigate. The new app update is INSANE! Not only is it super easy to find what I want to find, the design of the app is really cool and engaging. LOVED making my jersey and sharing my trading card with my family. Can’t wait to see how I can use the app when I go to a game this season!!

I can't use the app. You made the new splash screen not scale down for smaller screens. I can't physically hit the button

Tried to update from day one. So I deleted the app and installed the app again nothing. Please help

Incredible Update
The new Niners app really focuses on what’s important to the fan. Love all of the exclusive content and the AI feature is awesome. Looking forward to seeing it in action during the season!
Very basic and buggy
I had high hopes for this new app, but was sadly disappointed. It provides basic information, very thin on bells and whistles, and the AI chat just points to links (without actually answering my question). A joke.

I think it’s ridiculous that I’ve had this app for 4 years and now I can’t even get into it because my phone isn’t able to download iOS 18. I’ve been a Niners fan for over 50 years and now I can’t open the app and that SUCKS.
Beautiful New App Update
This new app refresh looks amazing and the functionality is vastly improved 🤩 def much better than any other NFL team apps I’ve used. Especially enjoyed making my custom jersey and loving the personalization throughout! Excited to see what other new features get added this season. BANG BANG GO NINERS!!

The new version is absolutely horrible and unusable. You can read the rest and it runs off the screen and buttons are inaccessible.

Great App for The Faithful
Great little hub for all things 49ers. Videos, news, roster updates etc. Must have if you’re a dedicated Niners fan.
Doesn’t work on my phone
I downloaded the update and it has very strange behavior and many of the images are off the screen and I cannot get them to respond to my touch. I had to delete it for now. Maybe it will work in August hopefully?

Can’t use app on phone since update! It won’t shrink to fit my phone, making it so I cannot click or use the app in any useful way. :(

Love the new navigation as, it’s far superior to the old app. Also, the fan activation is much more robust. Can only get more exciting as we approach September!
