Great App
I checked the lion time and it showed me perfectly when they wake up, me and my son were so happy it made his day, no other zoo has an app like this one! This was so helpful thank you very much god bless
Inaccurate data, slow location
I followed the map to the enclosure titled “Giant Tortoise,” saw a spectacled owl instead, and now I have a disappointed toddler who wanted to see the turtle. (The PDF map on the web site shows that enclosure as blank.)
It was a very frustrating experience, map updating my location slowly, map showing paths that are now closed with “Staff Only” signs, and scheduled events that are not happening. I thought the point of switching from paper to electronics was to have up-to-date information.

This app has been super helpful as someone who comes to the zoo often! It’s helped me learn about keeper talks and shows I had no idea were taking place. Makes my experience so much better, I’m so glad the SF Zoo made this!
Makes the zoo experience better
Finding my way around the zoo is easier with the app and I can plan my visit around which animals I want to see. I can view the animal feedings and keeper chat times and locations. I highly recommend!
