SGVT IS AWESOME FOR LOCAL NEWS!

I love SGVTribune it’s been around awhile when I was a kid my grandma would receive a daily newspaper, she would have me go outside to get it well she was making breakfast and coffee. I would watch her read away while I ate and I thought to myself why would she read the paper when she can just watch the news on TV. Now that I receive my own subscription I can see why she would choose to read the newspaper rather then watch it on TV, the paper has alot more details on what is being reported and it has reports that don’t make it on the air that are still important to know about. The other big difference is the cost for monthly subscription’s back in the early 90’s a monthly subscription was $7 now it is $43 for monthly subscription but the digital subscription is around $20 or so. I do agree the price is high for subscription’s but i choose to pay for the daily print subscription of the newspaper that is one thing I do not want to change. Till this day the newspaper is on time and loaded with reports that is deemed not worthy for airtime. I love sticking to all SGV news from my hometown Diamond Bar to the far end of Monterey Park. I wonder if the digital version has all the same reports as the print does? Maybe one day I will take a look at it to make my recommendations on it. Thanks to SGVT keep up the swell work it is all much appreciated…

App is broken

Latest version 8.0 is broken. Content does not load. All you get is a spinning circle. Great job!

Not very useful

I was looking for an app that shows me the newspaper as it looks when printed. Similar to the app I use for the LA Times. I could not find a business section or even the comics…. Not very helpful.

Happy you are still available

I am originally from West Covina. It is nice to check in and see the local news when I want to know what is happening locally. I grew up with my parents reading the San Gabriel Valley Tribune every day and my husband was a paperboy back in the 1960s. Thank you for still reporting on local current events that matter.
There are plenty of options for the SGVT to improve this app. I would like to see a complete update on obits that go back to the 1990s. I guess I am asking for a better archive on all local events and reports. My husband and I can then look up various past events. There is so much room for improvement here. Thank you though for all the improvements that you have made and I am looking forward to future improvements
