Sanctuary Alert

Sanctuary no longer uses background location. It reads your location only at the moments you choose. LOCATION, ONLY WHEN YOU CHOOSE IT Sanctuary reads your location when you send an alert, arm or extend a check-in, set things up for the first time, record evidence, add it to an incident report, update a travel group, or turn it on in Settings. It is never read in the background, and the background location setting has been removed. YOU CAN SEE WHETHER ANYONE WAS REACHED After you send an alert, Sanctuary tells you plainly how many contacts it reached. If it reached nobody, it says so first, before anything else. THE CHECK-IN TIMER STOPS WHEN YOU STOP IT Stopping a check-in stops it for good.
