Sandpainting is a small, quiet drawing toy: a tray of sand and a sun you can move. Drag a finger and the sand parts under it — slow strokes carve fine lines, fast strokes sweep wide. Real-time light rakes across everything you draw: ridges catch the sun, grooves fall into shadow. Set the hour and swing the sun where you like — midday overhead, warm at sunset, pale at moonlight — and the shadows swing with it. There is no score, no timer, and nothing to finish.
