Might be better with audio
The audio doesn't work, so i've no idea how to pronounce any of the alphabet/words, which makes the app somewhat useless.... ) :

One of the best language primers. The audio is an added plus. I have tried some other Sanskrit learning apps but they are all at the best subpar compared to this app.

Rename it Sanskrit for Hindi* speakers.
A single chapter on the alphabet, with neither attention paid separately to each letter nor practice with recognition and pronounciation, is insufficient. Also, the audio quality is very poor.
Once I've learned to read, write and pronounce devanagari elsewhere, I expect the remaining chapters of this e-book will be helpful. For now I'm going back to the Sanskrit Lessons apps by Aimkara.

It's really helpfull those who wants to learn sanskrit.
Horrible pronounciation!
I was looking for an app that would help me with my sanskrit studies, but this one is NOT a help. The audible for this app really does sound like a 3 year old and you can't hear much difference between one vowel to the next. Granted the differences are subtle, but not so subtle that you shouldn't be able to hear it. Aside from that, the vowels aren't even being pronounced correctly. Don't waste your money on this app until the creators actually get a proper linguist to recite the Sanskrit vowels and consonants the way they should sound.

absolutely the WORST thing I have purchased from iTunes! Now that I have it, what in the heck do I do with it? It's nothings but a bunch of verbage. Absolutely NOTHING that teaches you Sanskrit.
