About

SAR Task Log replaces the paper notebook that BC search and rescue members carry on task. It records the task number, subject, scribe, free-text location (or a parseable coordinate in DD / DDM / DMS / UTM / MGRS / Plus Code with map preview and conversion), a timestamped event timeline, patient vitals, and notes. One tap stamps a predefined event (Callout, Left hall, Arrived staging, Departed staging, On scene, Returning to base). Custom events and backdating are supported. Vitals cover HR, BP, SpO₂, RR, Temp, GCS with auto-sum, pupils, pain, capillary refill, skin, and LOC/AVPU. Entry uses number pad only — no steppers. Previous-entry prefill is offered but never applied silently. At the end of the task, export a PDF that mirrors a paper PEP form and share it via AirDrop, Mail, Files, or Print. Everything stays on your device. No accounts, no cloud, no analytics, no third-party SDKs. iCloud device backup is on so a dead phone doesn't destroy the record. Built for cold, wet, gloved, low-light field use: large tap targets, thumb-zone layout, auto-save on every keystroke, state restoration across lock and long backgrounding.
