The newspaper is disappointing. The articles are weak and there doesn’t seem to be much news at all (other local papers have news). The app is pretty much half sponsored “articles” ... advertisements. I was paying for this monthly ... and I’m done.

Mobile app is almost as useless as the paper and no better than the web site. Was hoping your more up-to-date news but it is yesterday's news today and that is on a good day.

Not good
The app only loads a dozen stories. Can't search well on it. The ads are very distracting and get in the way of scrolling. The interface sometimes freezes and doesn't scroll. Would rather use the full website.
Useless
Really bad application. Can only read it online for about a week before it asks for a press plus account. What is that? I actually paid to have the paper delivered and I still couldn't read it online. What gives? Never had a problem with the Times Union.
Horrible app
The worst! Very limited content and now as of today you can't read any articles unless you're a subscriber. No wonder its a failing newspaper.

Ditto the last 4 reviews--The worst app ever- reminds me of an 80's PC I had--and they have the nerve to put pop up ads in it- give me a break

Better than mobile site - use a lot
I use this a lot to check local stories and sports stories. Easy to use, way better than mobile site on iPhone.
Ads are annoying
I shut this app off routinely because because of the pop up adds that monopolize whatever content you're trying to view. It's a really low level app in that regard. You'd expect more from a news app.

Why can't you fix this app! Here it Sat. and I'm still reading yesterday's news. I know it won't update until Monday so now there's no weekend news. This has been going on for a while. Sad, sad, sad.....and disappointed.
Bad app
No news on here it's all gossip and stupid articles that have nothing to do with the area. Loaded with ads and no local news. Post star has a great app look at that one and model this on on that
Saratoga deserves better
This app really is disappointingly terrible. The content is not local, the execution is clunky at best and ad integration is awkward.

One of the worst Apps.. Ever.
Forget that every 5-10 minutes you are forced to watch some video that pops up... Finding local news is brutal & you can only look so far back. You also can't see user comments. One of the worst efforts I have seen to date.
