Excellent Collection
I am really enjoying the rare collection of songs, in good audio quality. I have a suggestion, you include more “gems” of each artist. Then it becomes a golden collection.

Bait and switch trial period
Downloaded the app for the first time to try! It gave me a 7 day trial ( not sure exactly how many days) listened to one song and it now says “free trial over”
Great app with lots of potential
Missing some core features of mainstream music players, and some bugs esp around starting up & connectivity, but the app is a godsend for someone new to Hindustani Classical music like me. Thank you very much!

I appreciate the sound quality of tracks and commentaries but sometimes very known bandishes of some raga by famous masters not available which sits some regret.
2 months subscription charges deducted but still shows as subscription pending in app

They have the best ever collection of Indian musical treasure. Raga wise search option should also be there under the category of morning afternoon and evening raga for novices like me.

Fails to recognize my subscription
Although I am subscribed for several years it keeps asking me to renew my subscription.
Good, but
The effort is very innovative and a gift to classical lovers. The curation is good but can be better with more knowledgeable commentators, the current lot is more dramatic than deep. The collection should be much more given Saregama’s almost monopolistic status as a recording house over the decades. The sound quality is excellent, better than competing apps (I’ve done A/B comparisons).
But the software has glitches. Songs are wrongly titled at times, sometimes playlists stop midway or go back to previous song on their own. There are times when the app shuts down itself. Far better software programming needed to complement the nice user interface.
I wanted to subscribe after my free trial. But the after reading some subscription related horror stories in many reviews here, I feel uncertain.

Continues to lead but it’s high time for adding new collections
Am a subscriber for the last 3 years and my day mostly starts with this app “the theme of the day”. But it’s high time for adding new collections from the past and present.
I wonder why this is not being done inspite of repeated requests from the connoisseurs!!
Please wake and do something to avoid the repetition.
Looks like Monday is the rest day for the theme of the Day group. Can u rethink on it ?
Theme of the day Carnatic on Sundays are limited to Tamil repository-it’s very often repeated & hence boring. Why not from Telugu, Kannada too ? Also please bring in new presenters on these days.
Not sure whether all these comments / suggestions are being read and actions are taken - apparently it’s not getting reflected to be so.

Worst streaming app experience
The catalog is really good. Grouping is very well done but the app’s UX wins the worst streaming app award. It’s slow, takes a while to play and the forward and backward controls don’t work most times. Please update the app UI and make it bit usable.
Subscriptions don’t work!!
This is such a beautiful app but there’s this bug with subscription where I am subscribed and money gets deducted every month but app suddenly stopped recognising my subscription and asks me to subscribe again! Had complained a year ago to their support and had unsubscribed as I couldn’t continue using the app due to this bug. Then subscribed again, it worked for few months and now again app isn’t recognising my subscription. Sadly had to unsubscribe again. Pl do fix this. There are other similar reviews as well. I love this app otherwise

Superb app
Currently I am struck alone in US due to COVID-19 global lockdown. I was looking for a classical music app to take away my boredom and with soothing music I am not feeling bored

More Carnatic artists to be featured
Although the Classical Saregama app is great, there is a need to feature more popular Carnatic vocalists like Abhishek Raghuraman and Percussionists like Dr. Umayalapuram Sivaraman. There could also be a section of training videos on Carnatic, Hindustani and Instrumental music from popular artists.
