Carplay

Seems like a good app. A nice upgrade would be to have it carplay accessible. I use a motorcycle carplay unit on my sled so that would be an awesome upgrade

Trip to Madge Lake

The app was very helpful in satellite view. We like driving in forested areas vs open plains so the app was great to plan rides.

Needs carplay support

App is great and lets you plan your trip, it needs carplay support so you don’t need to keep your phone attached to the handlebars or keep stopping to look at the phone. Carplay is all it’s missing to be the perfect trail app

Dont shut it off thru the summer. I use it to navigate around a northern lake on my summer fishing trip and last summer it quit working while i was there. Past years it has worked great.

Hi Dave! Thank you for your feedback. We can't make promises unfortunately. We often close our apps during the summer to make improvements, but mostly when the federations ask us to for security reasons. Best regards.

Overall okay

App is good, fairly accurate for riding the trail. Not sure if this is possible but we have run across the groomer when out on the trail. Real time grooming like the Saskatchewan snow plow tracker would be good.

This app is an excellent tool for enjoying winter and keeping us safe while we’re out on the trails. Thanks to all the land owners and volunteers who help to keep these trails open and maintained.

Hi there! Thank you for the 5-star rating. Hit the layers button in the bottom right corner of the app to find what each colour represents. The colours you mention change according to how long the trail has been groomed. The trail is green when it has been groomed within the last five days. It turns yellow after five days and orange after ten days. Email us at ssa@evtrails.com with any other questions. Ride safely!

Overall not bad

The app itself is easy to navigate. It’s also nice to be able to see all the local amenities near the trails. And the best part the exact location for all the shelters as that has saved me on numerous occasions as my boy and I usually take a multi day trip once a year on the sleds and we use the shelters to make meals and a quick warm up. We have even stayed in the shelters overnight if there isn’t any motels in the area. However it would be nice if all the shelters had pictures of them so we knew what we were looking for.
