A good app
It seems to be a good app , I haven’t use it yet but checked the functions, . Won’t be regretting surely.
Augmented view unstable.
While orienting towards sky, augmented view of arc is unstable making it not easy to read. While trying to get arc in proper view on tablet, the satellites drop out. I have to excite program and launch to try again. Unfortunately, this happens repeatedly.
Unable to find a way to get this issue to the programmer. Like what it wants to do, but if cannot resolve drop out, it will be a wasted purchase.

Sat Finder Pro HD
I really value this app whilst trying to find Optus D2 Satellite and configuring 11k300 for the EWTN for my customers. It's such a valuable tool as I can't afford the $3500 Satellite Tuner and so this app gives me such an advantage. Thank you developers.
Excellent App
Used this app for a while and hasn't disappointed with clear instruction on its use,with auto satellite frequency and other important info updated regularly.
You can set up your favourite satellite and at a glance using you built in camera on your iPhone or iPad view any obstruction in view.
Great for the camper van or carvan with a manual or auto satellite system who wants to check line of site before he pitches.
Or even installing a fixed dish at home could save you wasted time.
Would highly recommend .

die app vor langer Zeit mal runtergeladen, kann aber nicht sagen, dass sie damals mehr Sinn gebracht hätte als heute. Wer erwartet, damit seine Antenne ausrichten zu können, sollte erst mal nachdenken, bevor er eine negative Bewertung abgibt. 'Lustig' ist allerdings, die Position im Kamerabild zu sehen. Nur leider stimmt diese Position weder mit automatischer Kalibrierung und Lokalisation noch mit manueller Nachregulierung, daher keine Extra-Sterne.

Not user friendly
This is not for The novice. No way to imput which sat you are looking for. Can not find Direct TV for USA. In fact most sat listed are from other countries.

GPS not working
App won't determine your true location, however Google apps will so it is not the device. Azimuth reading stuck on random degree and won't change as you rotate device.

Hier hat jemand versucht, das Thema Satelliten neu aufzurollen. Eine grobe Positionierung der Antenne kann man vornehmen. Wenn es aber um die Suche nach bestimmten Sendern geht ist hier Feierabend. Eine Suche habe ich nicht gefunden und wenn man in die Satellitenauswahl geht, werden ganz stumpf die Basisbezeichnungen der Sender angegeben. Eine Unterscheidung nach HD Sendern sucht man vergeblich. Vielleicht ist HD bei den Entwicklern noch nicht bekannt.

Satfinder nice tool
Its a nice toll. On my ipad the astra 19,2 shows on a wrong position ,14 deg off. Compass is calibrated. Maybe it will be fixed. Also ipad and iphone show different positions for astra in the sky.
Needs some fixing yet.
The Augmented Reality was a little epiletic. Great app overall.

Gut gemachte App. Leider ist die Datenbank nicht aktuell. Das Vierte z. B. Existiert nicht mehr. Schade auch, das HD Sender nicht erkennbar sind.
Sonst ist die Gestaltung übersichtlich alphabetisch geordnet.
Besonders positiv ist die durchdachte Hilfe für die Einrichtung der Sat- Antenne.
