Found out why the program shuts down.
It appears if you put too many satellites in the list, it will stop running. Back to 5 stars and loving it!

The app works great on iOS 16.6. For those experiencing crashes, try deleting it and reinstalling - this worked for me.

Was a great app up until an update about a year ago. Now it crashes every time you open it and it’s completely unusable.

This app is by far the best for satellite prediction that I have ever used. It is accurate and very easy to use.
Love the app (Highly Recommend)
I’ve tried many Satellite tracking apps, but love this one by far. It does most of what I need it to do. It’s simple and easy to setup. I have recommended it many times to others that are looking for which app is the best.
My suggestion for one improvement that would be helpful as a Sat Op is an elevation minimum setting that can be used to filter the calendar of Sat passes. It could be configured in settings or applied from the calendar section. Store a value and apply to calendar results. It would be handy to have as it would allow me to see all the passes i I’m interested in working for that day.

Nice looking UI.
The + button on the My Sats tab causes an immediate exit (v 1.4.10).
With my device in dark mode and the SatSat dark mode settings switch turned off, there’s a lot of white on white text in the Settings tab.
With device dark mode on, SatSat dark mode off, there’s a lot of black on gray.

Perfect Sat app
This is an awesome app. It is now crashing while trying to add more sats, but I believe the developer is currently fixing this issue. App is very easy to use. I wish it had a “satellite seeker” mode that would show any satellite in your view within the next hour or so. (Filterable) I have a satellite program on my laptop that does this, but I don’t want to carry that out and about. Can’t say enough about SatSat. So easy to use and the developer offers a dark mode with red colors to help maintain a dark adapted eye. Some thought was put into this one folks! Give it a try!

Update causes crashing
The latest update causes the app to crash when trying to add new satellites.

Thanks to the author for making such an effective and well designed app. A bug occurs on my iPhone Xr such that when I open the listing in Passes the text background turns to black making it difficult to read the information. Otherwise a terrific app. Very accurate.

The SAT ham radio app
I must have gone through half a dozen ham radio satellite apps (most of which charge) before I found Satsat. This app does everything I want and has all the features I need - all for free! I haven’t found another app as useful for sat work.

This is the most user-friendly app I have ever used. Absolutely perfect predictions, this app gets any hobbyist on the birds instantaneously. The learning curve is 5 minutes and I would highly recommend anyone interested in satellites to add this valuable tool to their inventory.

Its interface is clean, efficient, and easy-to-use. Also, it gives me the tools I need to work offline between satellite DB updates (say, for backup comms). This app should be on a short list for budget-constrained students and STEM educators. Three thumbs up!
