Improving

Spaghetti looking

The plots are worthless, take the slp, looks like a bunch of squiggly lines with no meaning, labels to small to read, high and low centers have no H or r L to identify them, the spacing is to close, just a mess of lines, other than that the app is nice, please fix asap so I can enjoy it.

Update 04/02/26

I am now a subscriber. The app is very nice. A few additions that I would do include H and L in the center of the SLP analysis to differentiate between High and low pressure. I like the VAD can we also get the other VAD product(VWP) were it shows the
The actual plotted wind barbs on the corresponding height level as a wind profiler not just the current hodograph looking one.
Love the numerous updates the app is a niche winner.

You have a type saying monthly membership is $50

Good app overall

Solid and reliable

I can always count on this app to have satellite data even when some others are down.

So the update for 2.0 is definitely a step in the right direction I can see a lot of work went into this update. However having said that the problem that exist is important enough to cause dissatisfaction. Which is the size of of the contours themselves let us customize the width. This is a correct review from my previous one which I made several errors in the review. I Will subscribe to Pro as it is now worth it and I have faith after swim this update that things will continue to get better. Update 3-6-25: Love the increased activity of your updates, having said that could you please allow for editing the contour labels they are just to small to be readable, also could you stick a H and L in the middle of the high and low pressures. If that is done I will subscribe that day. Thanks Update 3-10-25: Updates of the app are flowing freely and rapidly improving the app. I did subscribe today and am happy I’d did, The app is fantastic. The only additions to add to it currently would be 1. Please make the contour labels readable by making them bigger or letting the user size the contour labels, they just are too small. 2. When having Highs and Lows in the SLP please add a H or L in the middle to signify weather it is High or Low Pressure because as of now the labels are to small to read to know if they are high or low Pressures. 3. When the Metar observations are selected the map layers icon disappears and you can’t add any more layers. However this app is an all star app now and I am Happy I subscribed.

As efficient as it gets.

Been using this app for a few years now and have always been so impressed by how quick I’m able to access data. Having a separate resource for crucial chasing information makes analysis so much easier to digest and utilize. Can’t wait to experience 2.0!

Half of earth doesn‘t work

Only works on the side of the Americas.

Response from developer

Yes, currently the app has imagery/data for primarily for the U.S. and parts of N & S America. The Satellite images come from the GOES weather satellite(s). We're sorry it was not what you were expecting.

Was Amazing

What an amazing satellite viewer. Wish the would make the mslp and all contour labels easier to read.

Update :
6/19/24 The data overlay you pay for are outdated so am downgrading my rating to one star, till they fix it and have stopped my 9 month subscription.

Great for viewing Goes 16

Come on app developers fix the problem so Goes 17 data works, kinda a waste of money for anyone living along the west coast.

Response from developer

GOES 17 (GOES West) data is now available in version 2.0!

Belongs in every chasers/wx enthusiasts toolkit!

Ever since the update some months back, this all has worked flawlessly for me. Can't beat it for a mobile GOES/mesoanalysis experience!

Great App and Suggestion to make Better

This app is great. It is so nice to have a satellite dedicated app. Been using Weather.cod in Safari for GOES and must say SatSquatch is much more mobile friendly. I’d really love to see a 500mb height & wind layer added to Mesoanalysis. Also would like to see GOES GLM added in the future.

Great when it works

Running latest iOS and the app keeps having issues. The only way to fix it seems to be deleting it constantly and reinstalling. Support team says they are unable to fix. I inquired about refund and didn’t seem to get a reply unless I missed it. Again- great app when it works- but it hardly works for me.

Minor issues

This app is fantastic. I’ve only had 2 minor issues that have been constant. First is if I’ve had the app already open and it resets in the background and I go back to it, it will give me a data error when trying to choose anything. Closing the app completely and reopening solves this. Also I’m still not able to have my pro subscription crossover to another device (both iOS.) aside from those 2 small things this so far is amazing.
