Completely sucks!
Bought a house with it and absolutely hate it! Don’t do it! Had to be updated and now can’t turn lights on or off in some rooms! Horrible!!

What’s not to say about Savant. So many possibilities to integrate with other manufacturers. Love it!!!
Problems galore!!
So many problems and has been going on for almost two years and dealer is so incompetent and can’t get it working properly. Run from Savant as fast as you can.

Savant itself is very reliable. Problems sometimes arise mostly when 3rd party systems do a software update. They try to be responsive
2 Years In - Needs Work
Not user friendly. 7 clicks or more to move from one feature to the next. Have to fully back out vice simply switch. Get some user feedback please and improve this very expensive system!!!!

Whenever there is an iOS update, my Savant system fails to connect.

It’s a decent app but the tech in our house is older and we find Savant a little clunky. We use it with Lutron and Sonos and Apple TVs. The lights can be glitchy. The music, requiring also the use of Sonos App, can freeze mid playoffs g requiring hard reset to restore functionality. The Apple TV won’t link up to all the speakers in the room, just a few, and sometimes the Savant App will fail to control the receiver at all.

Not great
The app has never been perfect but after some iOS updates it’s not working at all. Only volume works. It seems worthless.
Savant is Powerful
Savant is very powerful on all the electronics it can control. The problem I have is it’s not very intuitive. Some features are very hard to figure out
Useless with Apple TV
System has not worked with Apple TV since the new software was updated.
Ancient atrocious UI
Where to begin? Remote touchscreen is poorly calibrated, volume control in the app is so low that I often swap apps on iOS instead of changing the volume, remote battery dies and needs replacing after just a few years but the remote is not “user serviceable”, etc. for a company this old the product should not feel like an early kickstarter prototype.
