Save Tuba

Save Tuba is a mobile educational game designed to help children ages 8 to 11 in Kazakhstan develop sustainable habits and environmental awareness through interactive, gamified learning. At the heart of the app is Tuba, a saiga antelope from the Kazakh steppe. Students follow Tuba through lessons, mini-games, and challenges that teach real-world sustainability concepts in a way that is engaging, age-appropriate, and culturally relevant. FEATURES - Gamified lessons organized by grade, chapter, and topic - Multiple mini-game formats including quizzes, sorting games, and image-based activities - Progress tracking for students and teachers - Available in Kazakh, Russian, and English - Designed for use in classrooms and at home Save Tuba is developed by a team from Lehigh University in partnership with Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University and Almaty Management University, with support from Kazakhstan's Ministry of Education.
