Tribe helps people find and connect with other people based on specific skills, interests, and real-world activities. Users create a profile by adding attributes that describe what they do, what they are interested in, or what they are looking for. Other users can confirm these attributes through a feature called “cosigns,” which indicate agreement and support from others that the attribute is based on their real interaction or experience. The app allows users to: - Search for people based on specific attributes (for example: skills, interests, or experience) - Request contact or services from other users - Offer services or mentorship, with optional requirements that users must meet before contacting them - Create and respond to announcements, such as events or opportunities - Scan QR codes in real-world locations to quickly connect with people or organizations - Participate in interactions (such as mentorship sessions, projects, or events) and provide feedback afterward Tribe is designed to inspire in-person, real-world connections. Users can discover people nearby, attend events, and build ongoing relationships based on shared activities and verified attributes. The app includes optional location features to show nearby users and events, and optional camera access for profile photos and QR code scanning.
