SAWATCH Rental

SAWATCH Rental is the console app for bath and sauna facilities that rent SAWATCH devices to their guests. It runs on iPad and on iPhone. It is a tool for facility staff. Guests never use this app. ■ Every device your console looks after, on one screen Connection, battery level, and rental state sit on a single board. The four sections follow what the staff does next: not lendable, ready to lend, waiting for handover, and out on rental. A counter across the top says how many devices are in each section, so nobody has to walk over and check a device one by one. Devices out on rental show the time remaining, so a return that is due soon and one that is already overdue both read at a glance. ■ At the counter, just match the number The guest pays on their own phone and shows a pickup number. The same number is waiting in the handover section, so staff only have to match it and hand the device over. There is no screen that asks you to type the number in. You can hand over a device other than the one held for that guest. The console moves the hold first and then records the handover, so nobody has to hunt for one specific device while a guest is waiting. ■ Returns are recorded only after the data is safely off the device On return, the console reads the measurement data from the device over Bluetooth, records the inspection, and then closes the rental. Data that could not be read is never silently discarded. When it truly cannot be read, the rental can be ended as a cancellation with no charge. ■ Keep a broken device out of circulation Quarantine a device the moment you notice something. The reason and the follow-up notes stay with the case so the operator can take it from there. A quarantined device leaves the lendable group, so it cannot reach the next guest. ■ Built for the pace of a front desk One screen, and no menus to learn. Stand an iPad on the counter in landscape, or carry the same screen on an iPhone. A narrow screen scrolls the sections sideways instead of dropping anything. The appearance is fixed to light, so the colors that carry state never change with a device setting. ■ What you need An authentication code issued by 100plus. Staff enter it once on first launch; after that the app is ready as soon as it opens. SAWATCH devices assigned to your facility.
