The South African Waste Information Centre (SAWIC) enables officials of the Department: Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (DFFE) to capture, process, and approve routine waste management data. It provides a secure platform for managing official waste information, ensuring compliance, transparency, and efficient monitoring of waste recovered, recycled, treated, exported, and disposed of in South Africa.
