Almost

This does what I was looking for working well as flash cards for the saxophone. I am giving it three stars because it says in the description that it is for soprano, alto, tenor sax but the notes played in this app are what you would hear with an alto, Eb instrument, and I can find no way to change the notes to a tenor, Bb instrument. This change would be really helpful and I emailed the developer from your help site and got no response.

Worth the Purchase

After playing by ear for years, I wanted to improve my sight reading ability. So, I purchased this app to help me study, and I was not disappointed. The app is very user friendly, no bells and whistles, just what is needed. Great job!

A great little app to help learn

Simple in use, you select the notes you want to learn (this really helps as a new sax player as you can add notes as you get introduced to them). The notes appear in random order, you can envisage the fingering in you mind, play it on the sax, or simply flip the card over to see the correct fingering. It offers sound to to train your ear or compare your playing to. Are sure you have the right note and are in tune.
Is helping me as I prefer to guess notes instead of reading properly (much to my teacher's dismay!)
Give it a try, I guarantee it'll help tie musical notes to fingers on keys.

Great

I bought this in order to help with reading sax notes. It definitely does the job! I would not recommend this for a beginner though.
