What's New in Say Color

1.2.2

December 20, 2018

This app managed to survive in the App store, even though it hadn't been updated since early 2012. A lot has changed since then, including Apple's spiffy new 64-bit processors which won't run my old 32-bit code. So it's time to finally update Say Color for arm64, iOS 12, and a bunch of new iPhone device display sizes. Enjoy.

Love it but I wish it had more options!

A great free app that allows you to point your smartphone camera at an object and then press a button to announce the color. I wish there was an option for it to automatically announce each color without pressing a button each time to make it a little easier for blind people to use that are holding other objects and the phone at the same time. I also wish there was a setting to make the color options more basic, instead of advanced colors like maroon or olive green. Overall this is the best free app of its kind that I’ve found. If you’re looking for a free simple app that has audio announcement of colors without a lot of extras this is it.

A good way to automatically update and look at colors. It is awesome.

Thanks!

I'm thoroughly satisfied with the functionality of this application. Colorblindness is slightly less of a hindrance than it used to be. Thanks again!

Useful for color blind

I have trouble distinguishing color and this generalizes color to something useful to me. Other apps get too pixel focused and don't get the general color. Great app!

Love it!

Worked perfectly!
