SaySum is an intelligent voice recording and transcription assistant that helps you turn speech into clear, readable text. Record meetings, lectures, interviews, conversations, or personal thoughts, and let SaySum help you organize the content into transcripts, summaries, and key information you can review anytime. SaySum supports background recording, so you can continue recording while the screen is locked or while using other apps. With AI features, you can summarize your recordings, extract key points, and ask questions based on your audio and transcripts. This helps you quickly understand what was said without replaying the entire recording. SaySum also supports Control Center shortcuts, allowing you to quickly open SaySum or start recording from Control Center. With Nearby Transfer, you can send recordings and related content directly to nearby devices that also have SaySum installed. Nearby Transfer can include the audio file, speech-to-text transcript, and summary if available. Nearby transfers are sent directly between nearby devices and do not use SaySum servers. You can also adjust the app’s text size for better readability on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Your audio and text are processed within our controlled environment and are not sent to external AI services for inference. All audio and text data are protected with HTTPS/SSL/TLS encryption during transmission. Uploaded content is used only to provide the requested features, such as transcription, summarization, and AI question answering. Uploaded audio and text content is automatically deleted after processing is complete. We do not retain your recordings, transcript content, summaries, or AI question content after processing. We only store the account information required for authentication, subscription, and usage management, such as Apple Sign In or Google Sign In account data. We do not store unrelated personal data. Nearby Transfer is handled directly between nearby devices and does not use SaySum servers. AI-generated content may contain errors.
