As requested, version 4.64 includes the ability to delete individual empty seats. The way you delete the seats is: (1) Make sure the toggle to show hidden seats is set to show hidden seats so you can see the seats you want to delete, (2) Go to the Seating Chart Menu, and select the option to edit the Layout, (3) Long hold any EMPTY seat (this does not work with assigned seats) without dragging it, and select the context menu option to delete that seat. It will then be deleted. Thanks for your feedback, and I apologize for the delay in addressing this. -Rob

Thanks for the review. *. The menu was recently simplified (re: difficulty navigating menus); all of the class editing functions (class name, student list management, and seating chart) are now under "Edit Class" as of February 2026.

Works ok. Needs some fixes

Thank You For Your Review! A spread-out seating option has been added, and seating charts that are not spread out should now be centered. Starting with v4.23, the 'spread out' option should not just spread them out but bias the seats towards the center if there's extra room. In May 2025, I readdressed some of these issues, as both spreading out seats and centering needed some fixes. Several spellings have been corrected. I blame that on the fact that, as a developer, I prefer small fonts so I can fit more on the screen, while at the same time being in my 50s and having relatively poor vision. -Rob
Great app great customer service
The few things I didn’t like about the app I emailed to the designer and he fixed within a day! I’ve been looking for a good class management app for a while now and this one is really good.

Thank you for writing a review in 2023! Regarding the changes you requested at the time, I'm sure they also improved the app for other users. Interest in the app has increased significantly since then, and I appreciate all feedback.
Minor issues that become major
Pros: this is a fairly straightforward app and allows you to track attendance, create groups, randomly select names, and track basic homework data quickly. It is super simple to use.
Cons:
1. You cannot import a list of student names you must type each name individually!!!
2. when typing student names in it is black text in a black field so you cannot see if you have made a mistake.
3. there is no way to edit a student name in the same place where you enter them. you have to go back out into a different area and then you can edit the names if you mess up.
4. when you create groups it is white text on a light/white background. this makes it impossible to read the names of most of the students in the groups.
5. The app does not allow you to copy and paste/highlight names from the groups. So if you wanted to present the groups to the class you would have to retype everyone’s name whatever you can present them.
6. I did not see a print function for the seating charts. This is necessary so that you have seating charts for substitutes.
7.It would be nice if you could choose your arrangement instead of just rose and columns.
