Excellent reference

Excellent reference tool. The only reason it gets and not 5 stars is that the Messian modes are incomplete. Well worth the money.

Great App

I just downloaded this app onto my iPhone and have found it has many very useful features, and is a great aid for practicing scales.

A suggested improvement to get five stars would be to add a help menu and/or tutorial. You can figure it out by 'hope and poke', but explanation would be helpful for first time users and beginner music students. Tutorial could be on web site, with link shown in app store narrative.

Great reference tool for musicians

This program couldn't be simpler to use while providing a database of scales from the European classical tradition, jazz and pop, world music, and even the modernist world of Messiaen. Transposing keys is a snap, while the ability to vary tempo, register, number of octaves, and rhythmic pattern makes this an invaluable practice tool. Already one of my favorite music apps.

Excellent resource!!!

I wanted an app that could quickly show me the notes from many different scales and this app nails it! I purchased this along with another app that was £4 more expensive than this and to be honest i prefer this one.
