Great when it works
Had so many issues with this. Works fine one day and not the next.
worked yesterday and now will not calibrate any cars. Deleted all cars, delete app, tried different device, switched to analogue and back to digital on the base, tried many things and nothing will get it working again.
So frustrating to have spent so much money on this

Great app and support
This app makes the game imho. We turn on fuel tyre and weather events. Has great sound effects.

A fantastic idea with a few key features missing. Saving drivers fastest laps would have been a nice touch.
Tournament mode doesn’t work at all and there are very few instructions on the differences between the other modes.

Good but ….
It’s good app with some good features but needs some extra features! Especially keeping score times, once the race is over unless you share the results they’re gone!
Bug heavy app
There are A LOT of bugs in this app! We haven’t yet been able to use the tournament mode as the heats either don’t display the lap information or they auto-finish. Similarly, we have real problems with throttle and braking control when using practice, arcade or any of the racing settings (e.g. the app will limit the throttle to a crawl before releasing, causing the cars to fly off the track).
Good gimmick but I’d highly recommend people use alternatives.

App Crashes
Can’t even use the app- it crashes every time you try to launch it. Both app and device are showing up to date
Problems
I’ve just purchased this at Christmas 2023. Great bit of kit but I cuts out 1 lane when using the app. I noticed others complaining of this so I’m unable to use the app?
Is there a fix or is it me doing something wrong.

Car and track selection is lacking
I have three digital sets and they are not listed in the available track selections. Out of 10 factory digital cars only one is listed. It kills the excitement of setting up the application.
Great piece of kit
Love it ! So much better than dragging cables across the track every time your cars come off especially with kids . Recommend the Scalectric START cars when using pace car as they stick to track better . Just remember not to have the old power hub or any digital lap timers connected when you fit it as it will fry the board on the Arc air .
I would have given it 5 stars if it saved fastest lap times ideally under a name . The power supply has no on off switch so have to keep unplugging it which is a bit stupid but apparently you can have a switch put in power cable which I will do at some point .

Amazing
Great app now I hated it because it would not calibrate but if it is not calibrating than delete the one that is not working and add a new driver then calibrate that one and put the same driver. And it should work it did for me.

It’s a good app. There are some glitches here and there but for the most part it works good and I enjoy using it!

Tournament has 4 heats always regardless number of drivers or drivers per heat. A bit off, plz fix as pen and paper is annoying!
Problem with Tournament Mode
Bought the ARC Air Power base with the view to entertaining the family with a round robin competition using the Tournament option on this app. We were disappointed to find that on every attempt to run the competition it finished early before everybody raced everyone else, we ended up having to write down a race schedule and record each race result. Although all the other features seem to work fine, it was annoying to find that the main reason for buying the ARC Air Powerbase doesn’t work properly.

Could be great but big issue
The app concept is brilliant. The big improvements would be a more complete car library ... the last 3 years just isn’t long enough for the enthusiast who will use this app. Secondly the bugs. The main one being for me that the app works great on my iPhone but the screen is too small so I put it on my up to date iPad mini. When I click my garage it crashes so I can’t load any cars to use in a race. So the app is unusable. Other reviewers have also flagged the issue. If this could be fixed it would be a great app!

I acquired a Scalextric Arc Air Track Day set second hand. Installed the app and it works great. Using an iPad Air 2.
It’s ok
This app really does enhance the feel of racing, however there is a glitch where the app shuts down one of the lanes. In adition, when I’m not using the app, it makes both cars stop dead. It is a good app though, just with slight improvement it will be a lot better.
Super fun and works.
People who rate this low just don’t understand how to use this. It is simple and fast once you take some minutes to learn how to use it in combination with the track. I think it is unfair that the cool product is rated badly. It is the best slot car experience out there.

“My collection” could be improved significantly. Surely it wouldn’t have taken much effort to create a historical catalog of cars, sets and tracks.
Not all of the current track options are available (eg C8202).
A track design option would have been the icing on the cake
