It is buggy app
I even cannot open it. I tried it many times. I cannot pass the “Allow Location” menu. If you reject it, the app is locked.

Not very good
At first it was useful but then it won’t work at all I tired many times to try to fix it but it won’t work it is useless
Compulsory login
After compulsory login and wasting time it said it didn’t have the information for the item I was looking for.
Tuff
This app is as tuff as Timmytuff knuckles and the rock and John cena
Completely worthless after that collection information and absolutely gives no help.
In the past, you offered your scanning services without having to login to provide our information. Now you take our information and you still do not provide any quality information. Majority of your products are not in your system and require us to be “helpers”. If you’re going to collect our data, make sure it’s worth it. Do a better job.

Amazing App
I don’t know why some people gave it one star, this app has almost all the products that I have used in the US, I LOVE this app, I have purchased life time subscription for the app.

1 star for forcing me to give my location each time I need to use this app. I hate giving my personal location info away. I know I am the product as you are selling my location information to others.

There’s no ability to search products!!
If you’re going to make an app to assist Muslims with Halal choices, you need to include the option to search a product and not always have to scan a product. Many consumers shop online and this app is completely useless for when you do not have the product in hand. I agree with other reviewers that this app could have been great. This app is absolutely useless if you do not have the product in hand. You have chosen to keep the most needed part of the app out of the free version and quite possibly the pay version as well, which brings me to why is your monthly subscription so high?! You sacrifice profit over legitimately, providing help. Do better…

Be careful when you are installing it
Useless, forces sign in, location services are not optional (it doesn’t allow skipping even though there is a button to skip). I wonder which country’s CIA owns it.
Privacy issue
They force you to show your location. YOU CANNOT SKIP IT. I believe there is some thing fishy going on. I don’t believe the solve the problem they claim to solve. I had to delete it immediately.

So I downloaded it said that we need your location I said skip it didn’t let me I said enable it didn’t let me I pressed it like 12 times

It used to be the best. Now you can’t even get in the app with them requiring you to sign in and share your location. Why do all that when I just want to scan the thing and be sure if it’s halal or not ?
wasted potential
its apps like this that remind of the movie goodwill hunting because its actually wasted potential. They could have been great, they could have been the best, they could have been the ones to resolve this problem of not knowing whats halal in the western world. instead they made this app, at first it was okay? and then literally shot themselves in the foot as time went on. its obvious the team behind this app dont really care about it. i wish someone with an actual passion project made this app, but thank Allah we got gpt now.
