ScanGuru acts as a powerful mobile scanner, allowing you to digitize any document directly from your phone. You can then edit, sign, and share these documents as PDFs or JPEGs. All scans are stored locally on your device, ensuring privacy and offline accessibility.
Key features include scanning documents to high-quality PDF or JPEG formats, the ability to sign and annotate PDFs, and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to convert scanned text into editable text. It also supports multipage scanning, automatic border detection, and exporting to Word.
The app offers a free scanner functionality. However, premium features such as unlimited scans, text recognition (OCR), signature, watermark, and annotation are available through a subscription. Users can manage their subscriptions and auto-renewal settings in their account.
You can scan a wide variety of documents, including IDs, business documents, agreements, letters, invoices, receipts, paper notes, sketches, articles, book pages, business cards, and any other printed materials. The app is designed to handle diverse document types efficiently.
Scanned documents can be shared via email or messengers in PDF or JPEG format. You can also print your scans wirelessly using any Wi-Fi printer or save them directly to your device's Camera Roll for further use.
