Great app for inventory management!

The interface is sleek and easy to navigate. Much better than trying to maintain a giant spreadsheet.

Great app!

I use Scanlily to keep track of all of my board games and art supplies. It's amazing the power this app has! I'm much more organized now. I even put some stickers on the back of finished artworks, with voice notes describing my process and intention.

Incredible resource for business inventory and home use!

I own a small business and Scanlily has been wonderful for keeping track of inventory. The AI recognition really helps eliminate the drudgery of inventorying. I also use it at home for keeping track of my books and even the food in my freezer! We use the QR codes to preserve stories about our family heirlooms, narrated by the granparents and actually attached to the heirlooms. We've even used the QR codes to do blind taste testing for wines! The uses are so varied and the system is so easy to use.

AWESOME organization tool

Scanlily has helped me so much with organizing my garage! I organized all my tools and equipment and now I know exactly what I have where! I especially love the AI features and ability to automatically organize/catalog everything, it’s so fast and detailed!

Very useful app!

I’m currently moving and downsizing, and this app made everything so much easier!! I can take a photo of a shelf or box and it will make separate entries for each item

Good app

I like that you can search inventory with a picture. No other app on the market currently allows that. I recommend

Amazing App for Donations; My Vote for App of the Year

Wow….I looked at dozens of home organization and inventory apps and have used many over the years. There are several major “friction” points in doing an inventory the classic way, even with an app, especially if the goal is to donate those items to charity. First you have to collect all the items to donate….that’s on you but the hard part is just starting. The IRS requires that you document your charitable expenses and when they are objects, you have to create a list and that can be onerous in itself, especially if you have hundreds of items to donate (hint hint, you are clearing out a house) or doing an estate sale. Then you need to “Value” each of the items based on the “thrift shop or fair market value” and this requires research…some apps can help with this by giving you a range of values to choose from based on condition for example. Where Scanily shines in particular is in first getting your items listed without you having to hand type every item into a list. You simply use your phone camera to photograph the “container” be it a box, a bag or any organizational scheme to hold the individual “items” you will inventory. You can take a one or more pictures of each item or take a picture of a set of multiple items and they don’t have to necessarily by related, although if they are they will be counted. For example if you take a multiple item picture that has 3 coffee mugs that are essentially the same, it will count 3 of the same mugs. But if your photo has a coffee mug, a pencil and a flower vase, it will create a separate item for each of those items. You can also make a video of a group of items, talking at the same time to make any notes on condition or special qualities, and those comments will be collected as part of the item specifics…..very cool. Where the ScanLily jumps off from the free version ShelfLily is in the next huge time saver….the valuation phase. If you set yourself up as a pro user on the ScanLily app, the AI integrated in the app will search the web and get you models of items to zero in on a value and you can focus that value to be a fair market value or a actual value and you can override of course. In the past, even though the listing phase of donation documentation was onerous enough, the valuation step was particularly onerous. ScanLily makes this a piece of cake. Finally, you can export your data to a spreadsheet (although you will need to add a row for totals) or export your data in a multipage report with a summary of each item, the value, the condition, and more information that you even knew about the item in question. For the first time I have experienced a degree of FUN in home organizing and charitable giving. Really Apple should award this the App of the Year with the new valuation function. One of the best uses of AI I have come across in a long time….maybe ever!

Crashes on 17 promax and ios26

No longer works on 17 pro max and ios26. Cannot create a new container, app shuts down. cannot exit camera mode, need to force close app. Avoid this app.

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback and we apologize for the frustrating experience. The camera crashes on iPhone 17 Pro Max with iOS 26 are caused by a known Apple bug that was fixed by Apple in iOS 26.0.1. Please update your phone to iOS 26.0.1 or later (Settings > General > Software Update) and restart your device. This should resolve the camera and app freezing issues not only for Scanlily but other apps as well. We've also updated Scanlily with the latest camera packages to better support iPhone 17 Pro devices. If you're still experiencing issues after updating to iOS 26.0.1+, please visit www.scanlily.com/contact and we'll help directly. We value your business and hope this resolves the issue! Awesome organizer!

For folks who are constantly disorganized this little scanner packs a punch! Organize inventory from the click of a button and keep your products organized. Highly recommend!

So helpful in a world of disorganization

The owner is so profession and passionate about his product! Easy to use app and so many applications you can use it for other than organizing materials but also documents. Give it a try!

Super for Laptop tracking

We found Scanlily perfect for tracking our non-profit’s laptops as we use about 20 machines daily. These go out into the community and anyone who scans the QR updates the laptop location for us. If it is lost, the QR has return info on it. The mobile app and web interface are both very easy to use, and there are several explainer videos about maximizing the features.
We have customized the tracking fields to know how much RAM each laptop has, how old it is, and what capabilities it has. When we can afford to upgrade, we know which machines to replace, all of its password information and configuration. The QR codes send anyone with a smartphone to either the “lost and found” page, or with a PIN code, to the machine stats- no app needed! Well designed, well supported!

Game Changer App for Pro Organizers

I started using Scanlily for large scale client moves and it’s been amazing. It has so many features that are client friendly! I love that I can print a report with photos for my elderly clients and for my other clients they can simply scan the QR codes whether they have the app or not. I’m just starting to use this but I can see a function for it on every garage or room I organize for future. Customer service is also 5 star. Even a non professional can use this and get themselves organized! Knowing where everything is and where to go to get it has never been easier!

Great product!

I found this to be a great way to keep stored items organized.

Helpful in case my house burns down

I find the Scanlily stickers very useful to put on the back of my paintings and mementos as well as some of my other belongings. It will be helpful for insurance purposes in case my house burns down -- or in a better scenario, far into the future my grandchildren can use the system to learn the history of these family heirlooms.
