cool

syncs to bpm which is very important, its has a destructive implication with the use of percussive patterns, sometimes it rearranges music to were is doesn’t sound right, love that it uses chance so that it’s unpredictable

So good.

There’s nothing like it that I’ve found anywhere. Amazing little plugin that can take somewhat bland beats and make them extremely fresh. A work of art

FAQ

What does Scatterbrain Audio Splitter do?

Scatterbrain Audio Splitter is an audio effect plugin that divides incoming audio into rhythmic segments. These segments are then sent to multiple outputs within your plugin host, allowing for complex rhythmic manipulation and creative sound design.

What are the main modes of Scatterbrain Audio Splitter?

The plugin features two primary modes: SEQ mode, where you can sequence how audio slices are distributed across outputs or let chance decide, and MIX mode, which allows for live mixing and automation of output distribution, including triggering stutter repeats.

Is Scatterbrain Audio Splitter free to use?

Based on the provided information, Scatterbrain Audio Splitter is a paid application. It does not have in-app purchases or advertisements, indicating a one-time purchase model.

What kind of host is required to use this plugin?

This AUv3 plugin requires an Audio Unit (AU) host that specifically supports multiple outputs. If your host does not support multi-out functionality, only the first audio channel will be processed.

What are some common use cases for Scatterbrain Audio Splitter?

Common use cases include creating complex rhythmic patterns, adding stutter and glitch effects to audio, live remixing of incoming sounds, and generating experimental textures. It's ideal for electronic music production and sound design.
