Getting worse
I've been using this app ever since my first iPhone and there was already a feature that made large notes difficult because the curser jumps to the bottom every time you tap the text and makes you lose your text.
Now, I can't even get the keyboard to go away so I can categorize my note, so I have to go searching for it in whatever random category you put it in. A tip: if I open a folder and then decide to add the note, the folder I was in should be automatically selected for where the note goes.
Like I said, I've had this app a very long time and it really seems like you guys aren't keeping up. The only reason I haven't switched to another app already is because switching note apps is tedious work. Might be worth the effort, though.

Brilliant App
Absolutely love this app. I've been using this for a few months now and it's exactly what I needed to organise my thoughts/to do list.
A few suggestions for improvement:
- Ability to set the default category when you make a new thought
- Reminders: only have the notification number showing for overdue items (hate having the number in the corner, so I've never used the reminder function)
- Option to add more colours/categories
- Passcode lock

Please update the app to current times with the iPhone 6 and whatnot! Been a while since this has been updated and I love this app! Could use a visual upgrade and whatever things recent reviewers have asked for to make this app even better. Thanks!
Rock Solid
Scatterbrain is one of the oldest app in my old iphone 4 and still running great just like the first time I downloaded it, even after all the OS upgrades. It is by far one of my favorite quick todo/ note taking app when ever i have an idea. All that without mentioning the backup feature it comes with free if you signup and also text editing and other extras are very handy when you need it. Thank you very much for making this app :)

Great app but please fix scrolling!!
As scatterbrained as I am this app is perfect as since I can quickly paste ideas/thoughts/reminders down. & color code which is another amazing plus!
But the one & only flaw is when it comes to reviewing my notes, which I do often. Please allow a way to scroll through notes without the cursor going haywire & dropping me all the way down to the bottom of the text. It's very annoying to have to scroll all the way back to where I was reading just to have it scroll back down again. Thanks!

Abandoned? Needs overhaul & TLC badly.
This is a good app, but is needing an overhaul badly.

Ipad
Wish you could use this app easier on the ipad, such as being able to type/ operate app in landscape mode... It could hit such a bigger audience that way

I *adore* this app and have used it for years. It's a beauty. That said, as many other reviewers have commented, it becomes an unruly beast with long notes. Moving the cursor around in a lengthy note is an exercise in patience. I'd pay good money (ie a coupla bux ha ha) for a fully functioning version.

My new favorite app!
2nd edit: Still one of the best apps I have on my phone. Beautiful, smooth, and wonderful for organization.
For the life of me, I can't figure out why this isn't consistently one of the top apps in the App Store, or talked about more.
I'm in the process of moving. This app has saved me a million times. I color code my packed boxes with the colors of the notes, and then number the boxes. I have a "thought" for every box I've packed - so no writing on every box what's in there, and no digging through boxes to find stuff! I use it for a million other thoughts, and really can't say how many times this app has saved me!
LOVE this app! So easy to create little thoughts and notes. I use it multiple times a day. I love the fact the developers changed the icon back - the look of it & the app itself is gorgeous! It's fast & smooth, & looking forward to seeing what's in the updates. Keep up the awesome work!

Scrolling is obnoxious
I love love love this app, I've had it for years now. It's organization features are perfect and it is so easy to create a "thought".
However, it starts to lose usability as notes get larger, because as soon as you tap on the text it scrolls aaaaallllll the way down to the bottom of the note. And scrolling up is difficult because it starts skipping whole sections of text. So for large notes it's aggravating to use and I would've thought they had fixed this by now. Would definitely be 5/5 stars if they do!
If you just want an easy app for saving whatever pops into your head, this is wonderful! Just save yourself the headache and keep them short.

I love this app, try it!
This keeps me way more organized than the, "Notes" app. I love that it syncs to the server and I don't have to worry that a sheer moment of brilliance has been lost. Ok, perhaps that was a stretch, but who would know once it's gone? Check it out, I definitely like it.

Very hard to scroll through long notes and select different sections to edit, as it automatically goes to the end and doesn't let me go up..
Needs work!
Great app - love it - but why oh why does it freeze-up regularly as I am inputting ‘thoughts’? It’ll get 5 stars from me when this annoying aspect is sorted
Easy and quick
Love the customizable colors and labels. Great app to keep little thoughts. Don't need something as intense as Evernote for random thoughts. Not sure why this doesn't have more downloads.

Please fix the way app skips to the bottom of the screen
I use this app all the time and it is my go to app for storing info. However, I have become increasingly frustrated by the way the app skips to the bottom of the screen instead of allowing for a smooth scrolling experience. An update would be very welcome.
I love this app
I use it all the time to keep track of my spending and whatnot. The only reason I have it 4 instead of 5 stars is because I wish they'd update it to fit with the rest of iOS7 better, but that's only a cosmetic issue.
Only note app I use.
