Very Disappointing
All participants were unable to interact with any of the floating location icons and were forced to click “skip” every time. Pretty app, but core features no longer work.

Weird things going on
Had hard time turning’s the app off. It constantly reopened itself! I had to turn off and on the phone. iPhone 15 pro

Hello, we are sorry to hear this happens to you, but can assure you there is nothing we are doing on our end to to make the app restart itself – and we couldn’t. iOS obviously wouldn’t allow it for good reason. So it seems like you are encountering some kind of system bug or issue related to your device state (potentially storage related). Update: AR Tracking Issue Solved
I am changing my rating from May 27 after the development team helped me understand my issue (related to Apple’s location tracking data) and helped get my AR experience working.
There is great potential for this App! The AR experiences are fun and can be used for personal or commercial purposes. Definitely worth exploring and seeing what you can build and where your imagination takes you!

Scavengar - Awesome!
Absolutely recommend this app for creating scavenger hunt type AR games. We’re still building the pilot, but can’t wait to test our review of Slavic folk creatures with my students. Our questions were answered quickly. Looking forward to the updated version coming soon. Great app.

Total joke. Lots of wasted time. Creator is bad. User experience is frustrating. Really disappointed!

Advertised as app-less sharing but when I shared my creation it prompt my team with an app to download to play.
Very cool idea but too many issues that have no fix
Changing my rating bc I reached out to developer via the website who said they are working to resolve the freeze issue and better clarify the “premium” feature language.
I bought credits to unlock “premium” features but the app has no way actually applying those credits to the game. It just asks you to buy more without having the option to spend what you have paid for! Also, at the end of every hunt the screen freezes even on WiFi so there is no payoff at the end of the experience which pretty much ruins all the good things and makes it a bad experience overall. Developers should have these things solved before charging money to people!!

Great concept but serious issues!
I was definitely a fan of the apps format when I downloaded it. I made a geographical scavenger hunt for my younger siblings. Unfortunately none of us have been able to try it, the App seems to get stuck when trying to load the experience (when it says “this will take a few seconds”), and only a random 1/20 attempts will actually load, at which point the app freezes. From what I read the second issue is an iOS 14 problem but the one we can’t handle is the first one and why it would load.

Kept freezing
Whenever I tried to use the app, it froze my screen and it wasn't moving and I couldn't touch it. I use a 7th generation iOS iPad, and it didn't work at all
Issues but so fun
I downloaded this app and was very pleased at first, but then it started freezing during the tutorial. I tried some other hunts, but those all froze eventually too. If the app didn’t freeze so much, I would love it.

Neat app but needs some work. The developers were quick at responding and providing information to improve the experience.
Simply amazing
This virtual reality app is something outside of heaven...I truly enjoy feel that I am being told something that I have wanted my whole life. That is more powerful than any other negative source that could ever happen...love shall conquer all!
I was super pumped about creating a scavenger through our city.
I was super pumped about this cool idea to help get friends out of the house and get some exercise by walking through parks, going to local historical markers, walking to the top of a small hills but I quickly found that the app limits the distance you can set check points and items. I was ok with the limited colors and item options but the frustrating part is being limited to 75m. As you also try to stay within the confines of 75m it won’t let you expand beyond a certain point, so even if I wanted to add check points every 75m around a park I can’t because it stops me from doing this by restricting my loop.

When we went to test it, I got stuck climbing a hill to try to get my coin or checkpoint. There was even a point where I had to quit and didn’t even get to finish my adventure because I could not get to my checkpoint to move on to the next event, which does not allow me to skip, so I had to quite the scavenger hunt, kind of bummed.
With all of that said, I am super impressed with the interaction with the developer. If he continues with this development, I think he has something very big and exciting here.

I like the game
The option to choose the colors is worse than I thought. When i needed to find a green object, I pointed my camera at the green object and it wouldn’t work, I went closer but it still wouldn’t work. This is sadly happening for all colors, I also think that the swipe to move the item/object should be a little easier to swipe.Besides that I think the game is awesome. I recommend it and I hope the creators will fix this problem. 😃😃

Great App, few more updates will make it a long-term keeper!!!
Very Fun App, great for kids, if there were two additional updates, i think I would use this almost weekly for kids & teens alike!
1.) I’d love if I could just set out a bunch of items to search for without having to go from one to the next to the next. Maybe make this a ‘timed’ event without an end point, just ‘5 minutes to find as much as you can’, that you can still utilize the activities to unlock larger values gems.
2.) the second and more challenging would be to be able to ‘hide’ gems not just at a location, but inside a slide or on top of the playground, or under the deck

I’m a teacher, and today my students and I created a hunt that uses some multiple choice questions (along with other cool things) from my content area as a review. Teachers take note, this is a great app!
I’d love to be able to edit the hunts, and delete ones that were just tests.
