Charged me even after I cancelled
This app charged me after I cancelled it. How can I “not” be charged after deleting the subscription.
Does not work
This app does not work the videos will upload to 90% then nothing and before I had a different issue what a waste of $50
Garbage
The app is not working up to my expectations. Video editing and corrections puts audio and todo out of sync. I have not been able to use the audio transcription at all as it always errors out. I contacted support over a week ago and have not heard back at all.

ALMOST.
I have 2 monetized YouTube channels and put out almost 50 longform videos each month. I wanted this Descript app (now listed as “the script” app - when did the name change??) to be my main video editor so I can get some of my life back but the output keeps having audio drift in it. So frustrating. I paid for a year’s subscription. I looked up fixes but having to audio detach and manually fix it wasn’t that helpful to me because it means I am still editing. After I fix the audio drift by audio detachment, I notice later on in the same video more audio drift to fix. After looking up possible causes and tweaking settings (like requiring the descript app to do less for me) and getting similar results (audio drift persists), i’ve decided the script app is not for me. I might as well edit myself :-(

MUST READ THIS
The “royalty-free music” gets flagged by YouTube. You can’t post any videos made with them. Descript’s help says to upload to YouTube directly from their app. When you click, it says “check back later for future features.” I made 13 videos and now have to go back through all of them and find an external music library, change the song, export and upload to YouTube. This will take hours! All they have to do was put a simple disclaimer “Warning - YouTube is not accepting this song right now!” …but no. Nothing. Horrible.
