I just saw this review, sorry for the late reply. I’m curious as to why you really didn’t enjoy the concept. Two things: could you send me an email on the developer email that is shown. And secondly take a look at the developer website where there is a complete Q&A that completely explains how this unique concept works with other manuals and study materials.

A Must-Have Tool for 737 Simulator Prep

Scenario 737 is a great tool for sim prep. The scenarios feel realistic and force you to think the same way you do in the box, prioritisation, decision-making, and good crew flow. It’s been genuinely useful for staying sharp between simulator sessions and walking into sims better prepared.

Great training tool

As a retired 737 captain I bought this app to have a play around with. I was very impressed and wish that such a great training tool had of been available when I was doing my command upgrade all those years ago.
Can’t recommend this app highly enough!

A Thinking Game Changer

This is a great learning app for anyone undertaking training as either a First Officer or Captain on the Boeing 737. I have flown and trained pilots on this aircraft in a variety of regions worldwide since 1990, having accumulated approximately 16,000 hrs. Being able to use this as an interactive study guide, relevant to the aircraft system, enables a better understanding of the implications and reinforces your knowledge and decision making process. Brent’s enthusiasm in the development of this app is infectious! Highly recommend it.

What an awesome app. It’s a great way to develop your failure management having all manor of issues at an inopportune moments dealing with issues that could realistically occur everyday that you fly.
Once you understand how the cards work you can see how the possible scenarios seem endless. Such a simple concept with a powerful application.
Getting into the manuals with a purpose always improves my learning.

Game Changer for Upgrade Preparation

I recently completed my first jet upgrade. This application was a game changer for my study and preparation. This application is like having a simulator in your pocket. Instead of rote learning manuals, Scenario 737 allows me to generate a range of situations that I could work through at my own pace using the QRH and FCOM to work through the problems. My sim partner and I could work through the scenarios together and discuss scenario management and helped bring us back to systems review when needed. This app was what got me through the sim phase and has prepared me for getting out on line. The best $30 I have spent in my career.

Easy to use ✅✅✅✅✅

At first, I thought this app was just a collection of single-card scenarios. I was wrong. The real magic is how it combines four cards to create each scenario, forcing you to think dynamically. After just five scenarios, I’d learned more about non-normal management than in two weeks of studying the FCOM. Very clever design. I’d highly recommend this to any FO preparing for command. Even current captains would benefit from the mental refresh.
