About

Arrange in 3D. Share your vision. Turn the scene in your mind into a visual reference others can understand. SceneDrafter is an iPhone and iPad app that lets you arrange characters and props in 3D, adjust poses, and find the right camera angle. Use it to communicate an illustration commission, plan a video shot, or explore a thumbnail composition. You don’t have to draw to show what you have in mind. “Place the character here.” “Show the scene from this angle.” “Leave more space in the background.” Build your scene, add a note, and turn those ideas into an image you can share. BUILD YOUR COMPOSITION Arrange a sample character, props, a floor, and a wall. Adjust their position, rotation, and size to explore the balance of your scene. Try different poses, expressions, camera angles, background colors, and lighting. You can also create scenes without characters. BRING YOUR OWN CHARACTERS AND IMAGES Import your own VRM avatars and build compositions with your characters. Supports VRM 0.x and 1.0. You can also import PNG and JPEG images. CAPTURE, ANNOTATE, AND SHARE Capture multiple angles and organize them in the gallery. Add text, freehand marks, and arrows to explain a pose or point out what matters. Export individual images as PNG or JPEG, or combine selected captures into a contact sheet for storyboards and creative briefs. Share your exported images through your usual email or messaging app. SAVE AND REFINE Save your project as a file and reopen it later. Keep adjusting the arrangement, camera, and annotations until the composition matches your vision. FREE FEATURES • Create scenes with up to 1 character and 20 total objects per scene • Import your own VRM avatars and PNG or JPEG images • Keep up to 20 captured images per project • Add text, freehand marks, and arrows to captures • Export images and contact sheets as PNG or JPEG, up to 1920 pixels on the long edge • Save and reopen projects within the free scene limits • No limits on the number of projects or saves The total object count includes characters, props, and any floor or wall present in the scene. Hidden objects also count toward the limit. SCENEDRAFTER PRO An optional monthly or annual subscription gives you more room for larger compositions and higher-resolution images. • Place multiple characters in a scene • Remove the fixed character and total object limits • Keep up to 60 captured images per project • Export high-resolution PNG and JPEG images at 3840 pixels on the long edge Scene capacity depends on your device’s performance and the assets you use. WHEN PRO ACCESS ENDS Scenes exceeding 1 character or 20 total objects become read-only. You can still view them and export images at the free resolution, but editing, deleting objects, and saving changes require Pro. Projects within both scene limits remain editable. Existing captures are preserved, and adding new captures is subject to the free limit of 20 images per project. SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION See the purchase screen for pricing and subscription periods. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm your purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. LANGUAGE The app interface is in English. What's New in Scene Drafter

0.9.0

November 4, 2026

■ Now available in Japanese The app can now be used in Japanese. It follows your device's language setting: Japanese if set to Japanese, English otherwise. [TBC: how iOS picks the language; not yet checked on a device] ■ No more 20-object limit on Free You can now place more than 20 props and backgrounds in total. The number of objects depends on a system capacity based on your device. In exchange, images exported on the Free plan now include a small "made with Scene Drafter" watermark in the bottom-right corner. Pro exports are watermark-free. Note: Free still allows 1 character per scene (unchanged). ■ A smoother export flow • Tap "Export Image" from the annotate screen or the image list and the preview opens right away. Change or cancel settings from the preview. • On Free, you may see a short introduction to Pro before saving or sharing. You can always continue on Free. • After saving an image, you return to the capture board list. ■ New on iPhone and iPad • Export capture boards as multi-page PDFs. Choose the destination folder in Files. • Sign in with your account (Unity Player Accounts). • The app can now show an update notice at launch. [TBC: needs the iOS Remote Config keys; remove if not set] ■ Small improvements • Opening or closing the properties panel no longer shifts your 3D view framing. • The selection frame is no longer shown around pen strokes and arrows on the annotate screen.
