About

Not a QR-only remote. SceneCast Remote: TV Hub is a protocol-aware control console for modern living-room workflows: one place to operate the TV, route media to the big screen, and activate purpose-built scene modes without rebuilding the same remote layout every time. The app organizes TV control around context, not just buttons. Classic Mode keeps everyday navigation close at hand. Movie Night focuses on playback, picture mood, subtitles and quieter volume. Game Mode prioritizes low-latency HDMI switching and fast access to console inputs. Kids Mode surfaces safer app choices and volume-capped controls. Sleep Timer prepares dimming, lower volume and automatic power-off flows for night viewing. Behind the interface is a multi-protocol connection layer designed for real home networks. The app discovers compatible TVs over local Wi-Fi, remembers recent devices, detects Wi-Fi changes, supports manual IP entry, and exposes diagnostics for connection and input-routing behavior. It is built around TV families such as Roku, Samsung Smart TV, LG webOS, Google TV / Android TV, Fire TV, Sony Android TV, Xiaomi / Mi TV, Google Cast, DLNA-capable devices and AirPlay routes, where supported by the TV. Remote control includes power, home, back, menu, settings, directional navigation, OK/select, volume, mute, channel, playback controls, touch-pad navigation, numeric keypad input, input switching and app shortcuts. For devices that require pairing, the app provides PIN entry and connection-state feedback. Casting is treated as a second control plane rather than an afterthought. Send photos, local videos, music, supported web videos and PDF document pages to a connected TV. The casting workflow separates remote-control connectivity from media-delivery capability, then chooses Google Cast, DLNA or AirPlay-compatible routes when available. Screen mirroring entry points guide users toward native iPhone mirroring paths. SceneCast Remote is built for households that use the same TV in different ways during the day: news in the morning, movies at night, games after work, kids' viewing on weekends, and quiet shutdown before sleep. It turns the phone into a scene-oriented TV operating surface instead of another generic remote clone. In-App Purchases: SceneCast Remote may offer optional paid access to advanced features, expanded scene modes, casting tools, or other premium functions. Free features remain available where supported. Payment is charged through your Apple ID account after purchase confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
