SceneFace is an iPhone camera app for recording front and back cameras together on supported devices, with live subtitles for spoken videos.
Use SceneFace to:
- record both cameras at once, or turn the front camera off when you only need the main shot
- choose Performance mode for faster saves, or Flexible Export when you want the final video rendered after the take
- switch the front camera between Picture in Picture and Split Screen, then adjust PiP size, shape, and position
- keep the front-camera overlay and subtitle layout readable in the portrait capture interface
- generate live subtitles in your system language while recording
- burn subtitles into saved videos, export a matching .srt file, or keep the original picture clean
- apply a simple export look/LUT and save finished videos to Photos automatically
- use Pro Brand Kit to add your creator name or handle to exported videos
- use the Pro Teleprompter with script, text size, and scroll-speed controls
- pick a caption style, from clean Classic and Outline to Pro Karaoke word-by-word highlighting, Bold Pop, and Neon Glow
- place captions at the top, middle, or bottom so they stay clear of platform buttons
- clean filler words like "um" and "uh" out of a take's captions in one tap, with undo
- export in 9:16, 1:1, or 4:5, or keep the original framing
- copy a take's transcript, or export subtitles as .srt or WebVTT (.vtt)
- start a take on a 3, 5, or 10 second countdown so you have time to get into frame
- let the Pro Teleprompter follow your voice, scrolling the script to match what you say
SceneFace Free includes the core recording tools. Free exports include a SceneFace watermark, and free live subtitles cover up to the first 5 minutes of each take. Video recording can continue after live subtitles stop.
SceneFace Pro is a one-time lifetime unlock with no subscription. Pro removes the SceneFace watermark, enables Brand Kit and Teleprompter, and extends live subtitles up to 30 minutes per take. Pro also unlocks caption style packs, including Karaoke word-by-word highlighting, and a teleprompter that follows your voice.
Notes:
- Dual-camera capture requires a supported iPhone with AVCaptureMultiCamSession support.
- Speech Recognition permission is optional, but required for live subtitles.
- Photos permission is used only when saving or exporting videos to Photos.
- Subtitle language follows the system language.
