About

Scholaris is a school management app built for schools, connecting owners, administrators, teachers and parents in one place. Whether you run a single school or manage several branches, Scholaris replaces scattered spreadsheets and paper registers with one connected system every role can use from their phone. FOR SCHOOL OWNERS AND ADMINISTRATORS - Manage staff, students, classes and subjects from a single dashboard - Track attendance in real time, including QR based staff clock in and out - Collect fees, record expenses and see where the money went - Publish exam results and report cards - Give every admin exactly the access they need, with granular role permissions - Archive staff, students, classes and subjects at the end of a session, and restore them when you need them - Post updates to the whole school, or to one class, on the school feed - Open a new branch and run it from the same account - Configure school details, working days, terms and attendance rules FOR TEACHERS - Take and review class attendance in seconds - Enter marks on a score sheet, or import a term's marks from a spreadsheet - Write, submit and track lesson plans - Set computer based tests, marked automatically, with scores sent straight to the results sheet - Open class lists, subjects and the classes you teach - Download the NERDC curriculum, schemes of work and lesson plan templates FOR PARENTS - See your child's attendance record day by day - View published results and report cards - Check what has been paid and what is still owed, and download receipts - Follow school announcements on the feed - Manage your family's profiles and account securely ATTENDANCE Students can be marked by hand or by QR. Staff clock in and out by scanning the school's code, with an optional location check so a clock in has to happen on school grounds. Every record is kept, so any month or term can be reviewed later. FEES AND SCHOOL FINANCE Set fee tiers per class, log payments, and issue receipts parents can download. Record school expenses by category and see the term's totals at a glance. Payments and expenses are voided rather than deleted, so the books always show what happened and why. EXAMS, RESULTS AND COMPUTER BASED TESTS Build exam records, enter or import marks, review a whole class before publishing, and generate report cards parents can open on their own phones. Run tests on students' devices with question pools, rotating access codes and automatic marking. RESOURCES AND SCHOOL DOCUMENTS 131 NERDC curriculum documents, plus schemes of work and lesson plan templates, free to open and save for offline use. Admission forms, staff ID cards and other school forms are generated on your school's letterhead, on the device, ready to print. ON YOUR HOME SCREEN Add a widget to see today's attendance and outstanding fees without opening the app. IN YOUR LANGUAGE Scholaris is fully available in English, French and Arabic, including right to left layout. BUILT FOR HOW NIGERIAN SCHOOLS ACTUALLY RUN Scholaris is designed around the day to day realities of schools, from term structures to multi campus setups, so schools can adopt it without changing how they already operate. PRIVACY AND CONTROL Your data belongs to you. Scholaris gives every user control over their account, including the ability to request account or school data deletion at any time from within the app. Scholaris is actively developed, with new features rolled out regularly as we work directly with schools to build what they need.

What's New in Scholaris

1.5.0(150)

October 6, 2026

- Admin roles, rebuilt: Admins can now be given granular permissions instead of an all-or-nothing role. The redesigned Roles & Permissions screen shows what each role reaches and who holds it, and a new Role Access Summary spells out exactly what a role can see and do. - Archives are back: Staff, students, classes and subjects can be archived and brought back from the Archives screen. Archiving a class takes its students with it, tells you how many owe fees, and keeps attendance, results and report cards intact. "Archive All Students" clears out a class you reuse every year. - Finance you can audit: Payments and expenses are now voided instead of edited or deleted, and a voided payment stays on the receipt, struck through with the reason it was cancelled. Finance records are read only once a term ends. Payments and Expenses can be filtered by status, the totals have been redesigned, and every expense now records who it was paid to. -Spreadsheet imports: Share a filled-in student list, staff list or CBT question file straight to Scholaris from WhatsApp, Files, email or Excel, and the right import screen opens with the rows ready to review. Teachers can download a class score sheet, fill in marks and import them back. Accented, Arabic and French files now read correctly, duplicate rows are skipped and reported, and nothing is saved until you tap submit. - A better school feed: Posts can be up to 2,000 characters with bold, italic, lists and links. Admins can pin one post to the top, and upload the school's academic calendar as a PDF that everyone at the school can open, save for offline use or share. Also in this release: - Teaching admins get a School / My classes switch on the dashboard, with the stats, register, students list and lesson plans for the classes they teach. - Parents can view their child's published exam records and classes. - 22 more NERDC curriculum documents in Resources, bringing the library to 131. - Staff clock-in and clock-out are much faster. - Broadcast notifications can now open a link or a store page. - Dozens of fixes, including very large font sizes breaking layouts, searches that stuck between visits, fees charged twice after restoring a student, report cards lost when republishing a record, and errors when leaving a screen while it was still loading.
