Bad UI, Clunky, Unresponsive, and teachers despise it too!
Scholloop remains one of the worst experiences I have had with any app user interface ever. Nothing ever loads the way it’s supposed to, the app constantly logs you out for no reason, the emailing system utilizes ancient integration, the list goes on! This is just from the student end of things, I cannot imagine the abundance of issues that educators have to go through with the constant server failures that make their rounds through school grade books. Although I am writing this as a student, I have gathered the opinions of many educators as well. There is an overwhelming consensus that the responsiveness and tentativeness to care on this app remains absolutely dreadful and unacceptable. Cannot wait until my school adopts a new way to monitor grades, If I could rate it any lower I would.

Bug
When I try to login to a certain school, it will have no search results. I can’t use it even after restarting the app, phone, and uninstalling. Please fix this bug so I can use this again.

I mean like yeah the app is good to check grades and stuff but the only thing I find wrong with it is that everytime I close the app it always has me log back in which is an annoying process but other thank that the app is decent
Extremely inconvenient and bad overall
Every time i use this horrible app, it constantly logs me out. This app also creates a horrible relationship with the student and their parents. I do not recommend this to anybody, ever. Honestly, even google classroom is better than this terrible app. Words can’t even describe how stressed out I feel while using this. Everything about this app is so plain and boring that it makes my head hurt just thinking about it. Please, please, please never use this app unless you want to get constant migraines, never talk to your parents again, and a lifetime of therapy.

Doesn’t remember the login details
This app is terribly made and that’s not even the worst part. The worst part is the support and on-going maintenance. It logs me out everyday and when I checked the support page, it says the reason is unknown for almost an year. Surprised that the schools have adopted this junk. Website is not the best, but it works. Using the browser on my mobile instead of the app just to keep my sanity.

Let’s be honest
I feel so bad for the creator of this app just because you might have bad grades does not give you any right to write a 1 star review. It is not the apps fault sorry sis but that’s all you.
Good app just some bugs
This app helps me keep me in touch with my school and teachers but it constantly logs me out. I always have to login in again and again. It also has a thing with the emails when checking emails it doesn’t always show that you have checked an email. It lags and when I check and email and refresh it says I didn’t check it even though I did

Buggy
This app is riddled with obvious bugs. One must wonder if there is even a QA department for this software.
The current worst bug is that the Reply All function simply does not work. It limits itself to Reply. 100% repeatable and obvious.
Then there is the issue that messages don’t get updated nor are there notifications.
Don’t even get me started about the inability to use any formatting or lack of space to write messages. And then let’s not forget that it won’t even populate my student’s name/address.
Lastly, and there are certainly more ridiculous bugs, when the app gets an update, it blows out saved credentials. Every other iOS app developer has figured out how to proper update its app and creds, but the geniuses developing this app seem to have been dropped as babies. You really should be ashamed of yourselves.

Convenient, but not.
As a high school student this is a convenient app to remind me for my work, but also stressful. It allows my parents to see my grades which stresses me out when they are not good, and allows teachers to send home emails regarding grades. Also, it does not allow you to turn in assignments like the way the computer does through a dropbox. Finally it logs me out a lot. But other then that, it’s alright. Can’t complain much more because they can’t change anything about seeing grades, well, at least on the phone we can’t, because that’s the whole point of the app.

Would really love to see this app updated to rival the full website by allowing teachers to have access to their grade book, student info, courses, assignments, etc. As a teacher, this app is only good for doing ONE thing: messages. If anything else needs to be done (as a teacher) you have to go to the actual website. Can you please create a School Loop app specifically dedicated to teachers please? Or update the current app to give teachers more options?? 🙏🏼 With our jobs now being completely digital, we need easily accessible options!

Just a mobile report card..
Although the app is helpful in just checking in your grades, it doesn’t help with much else. You can email a teacher but can’t attach any work or files, constantly makes you re-enter your login information, absolutely no access to your locker, screen is partly cut off on newer iPhones, these all seem like necessities when using School Loop but I guess not to the developers.

Every single time it logs me out I have to re add all my kids! 4 of them. It doesn’t remember any of the information. Even though it’s the same phone number and phone and fingerprint.
I 😡 this app except when it actually does work. When it works it’s fine and it’s easy to use. But going through the hassle of adding every single child every time is not worth it. I have to use it for my kids district but I will be asking them to change to a different app unless everything can be changed. This was all before covid-19.

Very basic app
The Lockers on the desktop view are the only way for us students to access it. This is very inconvenient as we are on a mobile device. We would benefit more if we can have our course materials at our fingertips.
Also, there should be a way to put loopmail into Inbox Archive or something.

This app is very useful for checking my grades and assignments. I have no problems with using this app, the only downside is that you have to log in a lot. Otherwise, it is extremely useful and gives you accurate information.
I need help
Lately my password hasn’t been working. I used to could look at my grades and all but I don’t know what happen. I don’t know what to do about this situation. I’ve tried many times to get in my school loop but each time it keeps on saying that my password is incorrect. This app is a good app but lately I’ve been having trouble.

Defines Trash
Don’t waste your time with such an undeveloped app. The app does not fit on an iPhone Xs Max screen as the bottom bar cuts off the screen. The scrolling on this app is terrible as it stutters as you scroll making everything unreadable. The notifications reappear multiple times even if you already cleared them. This app is laggy and logs me out many times. Also. The user interface is absolutely terrible. The loading screen when you click on the app is not to scale and cuts off the screen. Also, this app lacks a dark mode like many other apps. I can’t believe schools agree to use this poor app.

It’s amazing that in the 4 years i’ve had this for school i can’t recall a single change they’ve made to the app . There’s still no locker feature, my emails keep saying theyre unread even though ive opened them multiple times, and it logs me out every time i use it. however it is convenient to check grades quickly so ill give them that.

I give it 3 stars because I like how to app lets me know what homework I have but I hate that I have to keep logging back in every time i check what I need to do for homework. It’s annoying and it’s been happening for a long time now I deleted it and got it back again to see if it didn’t log me out but it still does it and I hope you guys can fix it
