App not working
App doesnโt load the menus
App is garbage
This apps whole premise is it provides you with an image of the monthly menu for the entirety of the school district. Thanks - I know how to use a web browser. I canโt believe the school district use tax dollars for pay for this garbage.
DOE Mess
Doesnโt work half the time, and is clunky when it does work. Not to mention the food is often not whatโs actually being served.
Worked at the beginning
Now it doesnโt even open.
Please fix app
You cannot see the menu when you click on lunch menu it is blank since please update this app.
Very glitchy
For last week and a half a blank page displays for everything except breakfast. Wound up having to go to website instead.
Great idea, terrible app
Super buggy. Impossible to access menus sometimes. Doesnโt recognize student IDs or birthdates.
Just one example of how little care has gone into this app is that January is spelled wrong in the rolling menu to enter your kidโs birthday. On the app itโs spelled JanGuary.
Hopefully the city didn't dole out a big contract to this developer. Itโs a truly terribly implemented app.

No Menus
Havenโt been able to view any menus for weeks.
Please fix app
You cannot see the menu when you click on lunch menu it is blank since last year please update this app.
Stopped working
Wonโt open to see โmenu typeโ. This app needs a lot of work.
Terrible app, stopped working in Nov โ22
Just an awful interface. Hard to print. And stopped working entirely a couple weeks ago. Wonโt show any menus at all.
Just stopped working
The app just stopped loading menus with no easy way to reach out for help
Not accurate
There were several days that the food at the school was not the same as the menu.
Tried 3 times
The app unfortunately is not showing the menus!๐. Been trying since yesterday.
Never works!!!
9/10 times it shows โNo network connectionโ. So you can never see the menus. They really need to fix that bug. I want to know what to send for lunch for my kids and it depends on what the school is serving for hot lunch so it app would really help me, but itโs useless.
Not fully visible
I like the idea of the app but the whole end of the calendar is cut off so you cannot read it. Even if you try to zoom out or turn your phone sideways. Really hope that they fix it soon then app would be much more useful.
Students would do a better job designing this app
Like others have said, the concept here is great (especially since the DOE no longer posts printer friendly menus on their website), but the actual app is AWFUL!!! I canโt even see the menus and currently it will not acknowledge my child because when I try to enter his birthday it only gives me one option: todayโs date. Seriously they should give this app over to some kids as a coding project and it would be 1000 times better.

Language options donโt actually work when you view the food menu
When you open the app, itโs offered in 10 languages which looks so promising. Especially in NYC where there are many families where English may not be the primary language spoken at home. However once you select the language and then navigate in your preferred language, it just takes you to same exact English menu!!! What a fail for accessibility. Itโs like they sorta tried to make it accessible to non-English speakers and then didnโt actually bother making it useful!!

This was a good app
Now all it say when you try to open it is.... please check your internet service. No internet. Everything else in my house is working fine. Itโs been doing this for 3 days.
