Stopped receiving notifications, all settings are correct. Poor app especially when this is used to notify you of information from the school
You had one job
This app literally has one job: to ping a notification when school wants to tell me something. It doesn’t do it. Loads of reviews say it doesn’t do it. FIX THE DAMN NOTIFICATIONS!
Push notifications
I have to keep deleting the app and reinstalling it, because the notifications stop working constantly. Not really much good as a communication app, if it communicates little.

Hasn’t worked for me since early December. Prior to this it was great.
I have sent an email to them but not had any reply or acknowledgment- school say they are aware there are issues but no sign of resolution. Subsequently I am Missing key communication from school. Very disappointed!

I like it.
Not working
For some reason this app stopped sending me notifications (even though they are turned on) and once on the app won’t let me open any of the links. It just closes the app as soon as I click on one. I have an iPhone 14

The Schoop iOS app is incredibly frustrating to use. Navigation is clunky and far from intuitive, making it difficult to find basic features. Performance is another major issue—the app lags frequently, and actions take far too long to execute. It also lacks proper accessibility options, making it unusable for individuals relying on assistive technologies. Overall, this app needs a major overhaul to be remotely effective.

Excellent.
This school app appears the same as others. But it’s great you can choose which year groups your children are in, so you don’t receive other information that’s not needed. Overall great app.
Notifications are not received
I’ve been using this app for many years, during that time there have been occasions where notifications haven’t prompted on my phone even though the settings are all correct. I’ve been told in the past to reinstall the app when this happens. This did fix the issue however it was temporary. I’ve lost count of the times I’ve had to do this and now even when reinstalling the app, notifications just don’t come through.
There have been several times where I’ve missed events at school as a result.
Please find a permanent fix as the app is pointless otherwise

Good app but notifications can fail on it
Used this for about 5 years now, at least once a year you have to delete and reinstall because notifications fail. This is a vital bit of this app…please fix 🙏

I enjoy the app and the ease of access for information from the school as I am unable to carry out the school run.
On regular occasions the app will stop showing notifications on my Home Screen. The only advice to rectify is to delete and reinstall the app! Until I realise that I haven’t received a notification for a few days I can sometimes miss notifications

Fix notifications
It’s a shambles
Needs an update to fix notifications issue
Please update the app, stopped receiving notifications so now I have to remember to open it a few times a week and can miss important messages
