About

Is your bookmark bar a graveyard of "Read Later" links? Do you hoard information but never consume it? Schrödinger's Collection is not designed for hoarding; it is designed for letting go. Inspired by the "Observer Effect" in quantum mechanics and the concept of "Entropy," we offer a ruthless yet poetic approach to digital minimalism. Core Mechanics: Inject — Create Superposition Drop links, fleeting thoughts, or images into the box. They exist in a state between life and death. Decay — Visual Entropy Every item has a default 7-day lifecycle. Powered by WebGL shaders, we simulate natural weathering. Unobserved items will literally fade, yellow, blur, and disintegrate over time. You can see the vitality of your information draining away. Observe — Collapse & Save When you open an item, you become the "Observer." Your attention collapses the wavefunction. The item is marked as "Read," stops decaying, and is permanently archived in your history. Death — The Ultimate Declutter If the lifecycle ends and you still haven't looked at it, it clearly wasn't important. The system performs a hard delete. No backups, no "Trash" folder. It's gone forever. There is no "Later," only "Now" or "Never." Key Features: Wabi-Sabi Aesthetic: Embracing the beauty of impermanence with paper textures, ink typography, and minimalist design. Local-First Privacy: Built on IndexedDB. Your data stays on your device. Offline ready. Customizable Entropy: Adjust the decay rate (from 1 to 30 days) to suit your anxiety levels. PWA Support: Install to your home screen for a native app-like experience. Stop hoarding. Start reading. Let information return to the void.
