The developers need to meet users

The devs need to meet users before rolling out idiotic changes to the apps as updates. It seems the releases are being made by a resident 12 year old and each time it is knocking out the log in and saved settings on the end device so vigorously - I may as well start with a fresh app. Who ever is the project manager for these updates needs to be questioned in front of their CEO to understand how bad they were able to make this user experience. It is so bad. This is a retirement fund app guys - come on ffs. You can’t possibly think so one sided and from one perspective when planning changes and updates.

Loops terms and never opens

Signs me in, shows me terms to agree to, I hit agree and it loops me back to sign in again. Endless cycle. Uselss app.

Useless app, use website instead

Useless app. I try and log in and it doesn’t recognize my info, but when I log on the web on my phone it logs me in no problem.

Circles

I logged in to the app, I accept the terms of use and it goes back to logging in then it goes through the Face ID then it goes back to the terms of use and it does the same thing over and over.

Can’t get past login screen

The app won’t load past the terms of use page. It’s just showing a blank screen. I have tried both on and off WiFi. This is an app issue. Please fix.

Seems like login issue

Post giving the login ID & password, the page is not loading in terms of use where it showing blank and it’s not proceeding further. Please fix this sooner

Missing date

How hard would it be to add as of “current date”. I will sometimes take a screenshot to see where the account is, without the date I have to look at the properties to see when I took the snapshot. My other half uses Fidelity’s app, and it has been there for a while, can’t believe no one has thought to do before this. The data is good, but it does not render well on an iPhone, fonts are all jacked, numbers wrap weird as well. Do the developers look what the output looks like?

Can’t get past loading screen

Can’t get past the Terms and Conditions page as it doesn’t load after the login screen.

Persistent problems with app

This app has consistent problems that have driven me crazy for years now.
1) if you change retirement age to say 62 it does not retain that information.
2)if you set social security benefit to $0 it doesn’t retain that information after log out but it shows $0 in the entry screen but not on the performance screen
3) the calculation and displays aren’t correct. It displays a full year contribution even if you are 4 months from your retirement date
4)the performance data says goal is above target say $10k but goal of 100% salary replacement is $15k???

None of it makes sense certainly not a tool that you can even judge on if you’re saving enough to meet goals. Even under assumptions it spells out in the app.

Please fix this stuff. It’s so annoying.

Retiree can’t use Schwab Retiree App

The mobile app now requires iOS 17. My iPhone 8 won’t upload iOS 17. I’m retired and likely won’t be buying a new iPhone. I guess I’m locked out of using my iPhone to access my Schwab account. Maybe I’ll just go back to what used to work for me, my Fidelity account…

Such basic app

Lack of basic info such as number of shares and closing prices daily and total gains etc. Dow jones lost displayed in black. Who made such basic app?

Terrible app

It won’t let me login. You can access all but the login in to account features. It lets me log in maybe once a month. Disappointed to read reviews from 13 years ago outlining same issue

App keeps spinning

I have to keep removing and replacing this app to get it to work. Otherwise it just hourglasses and won’t open.

Log in issues

After only one login, I have to continually delete and re-add the app to log back in. Very surprising such a large financial institution as Charles Schwab would have that type of bugs.

Not I phone compatible

I have to delete and reload the app 90% of the time or else the wheel of death appears when logging in.

Investment

Dashboard

I don’t like the new dashboard look. Would like to go back to the previous view—is that possible?

App change

Like every other app, why did you change something that was working just fine. Ugh

UR MONEY NOT SAFE & MAFIA MENTALITY

This is so rigged after, my first 3 reviews literally got booted out and everything disappeared. Just know that if you dispute fraud, you will get nothing in writing, and you will not be able to dispute their decision because their word is final. Don’t think you’re gonna be treated like you do with your credit cards. YOUR MONEY IS NOT SAFE! You will be closed out of your account for two weeks, and there will be nothing in writing, not even an email, that will witness your fraud victimization. There is no transparency in this company because it’s ran by thugs. My DAILY CHANGE is usually $100 to $200 loss every day for the last month. No matter how much money I win. you won’t believe this but the DAILY CHANGE is actually $100 to $200 in the negative… higher than my total gains and losses!! You don’t need to be a math genius to know that that is impossible that your daily activity is at a higher loss than your total loss from all of your stocks history aka gains and losses! As soon as I’m done exhausting all avenues to try to resolve this I will have to take whatever is left from my account and hire an attorney to get my money back. They’re literally taking my money in front of my face. I have had a lot more fraud than this. It’s so bad that I have had SHORTED transactions from securities that did not allow it. If that doesn’t scream employee fraud I don’t know what does. When I reported these reoccurring fraudulent trades, they basically said that they could do whatever they want. These employees are part of it, it’s obvious that the mafia mentality is all over this. No matter how much money I win I cannot get into a positive balance and within a month and a have lost $10,000 this way. I’ve been trading for over 30 years so it’s not like I started the other day. If you are a woman watch out because they attack you with fraud. They’re way too many fraudulent incidents to list here. If you report fraud, don’t expect any documentation or email . This is not like your credit cards, these people are not to be trusted. You’ve been warned!
