Great app

Used this for past 5 years as a replacement for calculator app. Much more usable than default app. Was worth the cost and I’d like to thank whoever made this. Only complaint is sometimes long pressing and scrolling up to see past results can be a bit finicky

Could use more scientific options such as complex math

I have found this to be a good calculator for basic arithmetic. It is free, so one can’t complain, but I would think that a scientific calculator would think complex arithmetic would be a useful add for scientific applications. Also, I haven’t seen an option like complex exponential. Thanks for asking, and I hope you view this as constructive criticism.

Old faithful

I think I've had this app for a few years now. It's strength is what it's not trying to do. Its got the basic calculator functions, but not trying to be a true scientific calculator. If you truly needed to graph a function you'd use your chunky Ti. This fits the everyday calculations, with the occasional heavier calculations that require exponents or squaring. And most importantly, it addresses the biggest gripe I have with the default calculator; the lack of history. With this I can run a dozen smaller operations and grab the figures I need from the past as I go. And it performs all this in a very slick, minimal interface that I genuinely enjoy using. I'm writing this review because I've finally moved on from iOS and this app doesn't seem to be on the Android store. It's a bittersweet goodbye. You've set the standard high here.

Calc review

This is exactly what I was searching for! Clean and simple. What I was really looking for was the history recall feature. Only thing I wish the app had was ability to enter numbers in fraction mode. The would truly replace my iPhone Calc!

Best Scientific Calculator! (1 Year Review)

This is my favorite scientific calculator in the App Store. For me, it’s the best combination of functionality, visual design, and app support.

It looks great and works really well. The paid features such as smart parenthesis and quick copy/paste are definitely worth it if you’re working on lines of operations that require accuracy (college math, physics, engineering, and chemistry)

Finally, the developer Andreas, was super approachable and quickly resolved an issue when iOS 14 launched.

Useful, good UI, G8 features

Update: GR8! Now all the features I need + good value. Smooth running & EZ to use.

Best for ios

Ran through quiet a few calculators before landing on this one. Good for quick calculations up to trig. Not as good as hyper calc on Android but best I've found on iOS.

It’s nice looking but almost useless

The clean look is aesthetically pleasing, but it can’t even solve basic things that the stock iPhone calculator can do.

Very nice and simple, but just one thing, is there a way to delete or add numbers in the front or middle, not just the last one?

Wish it allowed copying numbers

Only feature that I wish it had is copy and pasting numbers. Other than that it’s a great calculator

Thank you for your feedback, it means a lot! With the premium version, you can press and hold any previous entry to copy and paste it as input. You can also double tap any previous entry or result to copy it to your device's clipboard and paste it anywhere.

Nice interface, but atan is broken

I haven't used it much yet, but my first case required atan () and the results were WAY off: atan(.0002) came back as 63.43. Should be 0.011.

Update: latest update fixed this bug. So far so good!

Way better than the stock calculator!

I love the look and feel of this calculators. I use it a lot and the parenthesis is the best part of it.
The only down side is that I wish it would save the history of the operations. One you close the app the history is lost.

But either way I recommend it!

Perfect Replacement for iOS Calculator

As advertised, this calculator has a clean look and elegant feel. The layout is nicely proportioned between the scrolling output and the (easy to touch one-handed) buttons. To achieve this the keyboard has been stripped of the functions that people don't use, such as "random" and %. Also no need for the memory buttons since you can long press an answer to copy it to the input field. I thought it a nice touch when I saw that the clear button turns into backspace button when you type. The input field allows you to write out a full expression like most scientific/graphing calculators, so you can remember where you are in a calculation. I was glad to see that the "alt" menu had the inverse trig functions, which is something that is missing in the iOS calculator app and that I use quite often. Apple has really dropped the ball on their calculator and these folks picked that ball up. I haven't found any errors in calculations, which I thought could be the case with the carrot, but no. I don't see a need to ask for any other features as that would ruin the concept of this app... just what you actually need!

As of writing the review the in-app purchase allows you to calculate in radians, and therefore the default is in degrees.
