Keeps forgetting my scope sites
The app is nice to identify the sky conditions and I like how it's presented more than others for a quick glance. But it keeps forgetting my favorites in the scope sites.
Add the ability to search a map/ lat-long
I could not find the ability to add a location that is not in the included location list. The ability to search via pin on a map or entering lat/longitude would be helpful.

Scope Nights
I have used this app for years and was very sad when it stopped working. But the developer has managed to get it working again! This is by far the best app I have used to plan for astrophotography. Thanks for making this app!
Useless about half the time
Okay when it works, which is NOT very often. Gives me notice that thereโs good visibility tonight. Itโs 98% overcast with no clear skies forecast for daysโฆ
Best astronomy app
This app is superb to plan the clear nights when you can get out your telescope. Packed with info about sunset, moonrise, moon phase, weather, viewing conditions, light pollution map and loads more. If you have a telescope or astronomical binoculars then you need this app.
Rubbish and does not work
inaccurate, reports POOR conditions for local area set in the app, go outside and the stars are out, perfect night for using telescope, waste of time
Great app and really grateful for the update
The update is great but I had a fair number of sites and now get the message that I have reached the maximum of seven sites. Not a huge problem but the message is fairly persistent. I usually record places Iโve been so I can see at a glance what the sites are like, Is there a reason for the limit and if not then could that be relaxed?

Missed opportunity
Improvements made to the last update but apparently darkness doesnโt start until midnight?! What about the 6 hours prior to that? (In winter)

Now that it is fixed, this is an awesome app for astronomy forecast.
November update is great
Iโve been using this since it was first reviewed in a national over 10 years ago. It had some hiccups over the past few years, but this update makes it great again. The goto app for stargazing weather.

By far, still after many years, the best astro weather app is this one, and it's so good the dev brought it back to life! Thanks so much, no other app is needed!
New version is excellent
I have been using the app for a number of years and the latest version optimised for IOS26 is a stunner. Still really accurate it now does shorter period forecasts throughout the night. Definitely the best weather app to plan your astronomy outings with.
Must have app!
This app is excellent for planning viewing sessions. Recently updated to work with iOS26 and now works flawlessly again. So accurate and simply a must to plan your viewing sessions
Loving the latest update.
Scope Nights is my goto app for planning observing sessions for the coming week. The new hourly breakdowns to the forecast are super helpful. I also love how the app provides an easy way to customise what conditions I consider acceptable for observing.

Save your Money
How about an update?This app hasn't been updated in over 6 years. Also get error messages for all my saved locations every time the app opens or when I change sites. If your charging $5 for an app support it or take it off the App Store.

Used to be a great app, now over half of my sites are just a blank screen. Tried removing, adding them back - still the same.
