The sound disappeared
I just finished moving a song to a different key signature and tried to play it back to make it still sounds good. The app acted like it was playing but no sound. I checked volume, mute and speaker. I closed the app and rebooted still no sound. What happened?

The key signature is locked on common time. I clicked the wrench icon to change it and nothing happened.

Excellent App.
Worth going pro from the start! I use this in conjunction with music scanner to be able to transpose parts etc, and I also use it to compose and arrange. It does pretty much everything you need, and with feedback there have been several improvements over the years. Most recently being able to add rehearsal points and the option to condense rest bars when printing. All in all, a really great tool.

Almost There
This app got me into writing music. It lets you do a lot in a small package.
BUT
Lately, it doesn’t seem like the developer has optimized it at all for iPhone, or at least the iPhone 12Pro. Some menus do not fit on the screen at all, and I can’t select the buttons I need to. I have a feeling this is because these menus were designed and tested with an iPad, which of course has a different screen size and aspect ratio. This is very unfortunate, as I like a lot of the new features Tran Phuong has added.
All in all, if you’re on an iPad, you’re set. If you’re not, you might struggle to use some of the features, which is a real shame, as this has the potential to be a very comprehensive app.

Great, but some jazz feature sugestions
This app has been great and fairly easy to use. I mostly use this app for rewriting/transposing music for jazz band, so if you could possibly add jazz articulations like scoops and bends (or at least the articulation marking).
A swing mode to make eight notes swung would also be really nice to have when selecting the tempo or something.
The last suggestion might not be possible or practical due to multiple parts per score, but if you could add a multi-bar rests feature to make music more compact when viewing or printing a single part that would be helpful. If that can’t be done, a feature to
Disable or change measure numbers would work because you can go in to the pdf or printed music and write in the multi-bar rests and measure numbers by hand.

It’s amazing, but it could use some improvements
First of all, I like it because it’s very easy to use, and I compose with this specific app almost every single day. It’s cool that I could use folders to sort my different pieces I create.
The improvements I could use to help my music sound better are: That trills, rolls, and accidentals on instruments could have durations for more than one measure. I say this because whether I want the flute to trill for a few measures, or the percussion instrument to roll for multiple measures, or just holding a note with an accidental through at least one measure, it just doesn’t work, and the accidental on the note cancels out the accidental in the next measure, so please fix that.
Second, it would be cool to have more instruments. When I’m composing, sometimes I want to use other instruments like the contrabass clarinet or the bass saxophone. But that’s the problem. I can’t use those instruments because they aren’t there in the instrument selection. So I would like that you would add more instruments.
Third, when writing the tempo, sometimes I want to keep the tempo high, and write as, for example, 1 half note equals 100 bpm in the cut time signature. Or even eighth note, dotted half, and dotted quarter notes equals some amount of bpm. So I would like that the note can change when inputting the tempo.
Fourth, I would be cool to have more percussion instruments. I know I should’ve discussed this in the third paragraph, but I’d like to say this separately. I would like it if that you could select multiple instruments in a percussion line. For example, we could have mallet percussion that has marimba, bells, and xylophone on one line and you could change to another one of them anytime. I would also like to apply this to the actual percussion instruments as well. This would be great for when you’re composing a band or an orchestra piece. It would be easier to organize instead of having it all in one drum set. Speaking of have more percussion instruments, it would be cool to have most instruments like a suspended cymbal, a tam-tam, finger cymbals, a cajone, a djembe, a triangle, shakers, a water drum, sleigh bells, jingle sticks, congas, a large beaded gourd, wind chimes, a whip, regular chimes, a water-filled crystal, a gong, and a taiko drum. I know I have said a lot of percussion instruments I wanted you to add, but please try to add just some of these and I would be very happy for that.
Fifth, it would be great if you added ritardandos, rallentandos, and molto rit. and rall. This would help to gradually slow the piece down for a specific amount of time. This would also apply to accel., the marking for acceleration. This would be useful and hopefully I wouldn’t have to change the tempo every measure to slow down or accelerate the music.
Sixth, the graphics look like they can be improved. For example, the slurs and ties could look better by making them gradually thicker and then thinner again as found in regular sheet music. Also, when you want to slur a bunch of higher notes, the slur goes UNDER the notes, not above, like it’s supposed to like in regular sheet music. Same goes for the lower notes. If you put the notes low enough, the slur appears ABOVE the notes, not below. Another thing is that when you play two notes on a tie, the ties on both notes go in the SAME direction, not different like it’s supposed to be.
Seventh, it would be great if after a fermata you could add the contemplate symbol (which basically means you stop playing, then play again after a certain amount of time). Also, could you please add the up and down stroke symbols for string instruments and guitars? This could help when making orchestra music.
Eighth, I would like it if you added the septuplet, in the tuples section, if you press enough times. This would be SO helpful when creating pieces because I’m always missing a note when I need to input a septuplet, but the maximum divisions in tuples in the section is the sextuplet. Also, when I add a marcato to any note plus some articulation, it sounds WAY too short, especially if I put a staccato with it on the note.
Ninth, it would be so helpful to change the beam connection so my music would be easier to read and cleaner to see instead of constantly changing the beam group. So, I would like you to replace to beam group for beam connection.
Lastly, to help if I’m using this to create sheet music for practicing, please add the option to add rehearsal numbers so I can practice a specific portion of my piece.

Love the App. Just got the pro version a few moths ago and can’t put it down. Really amazing and fun. If possible tho I think it would be really be beneficial if you were to add sustain pedal notations for the Piano as well as Up and Down strum notations for guitars. The Chord index could also use a “5” option for guitar power chord labeling (example… E5

please add pedal markings and glissandi for the harp
i'm trying to write music for the harp but need pedal markings and glissandi and harmonics and some other Harp related stuff it's a wonderful little app the free version kept crashing on me so I had to get my money back on that one when I download it the full version from the free version I don't recommend downloading the free version and trying to get the full version as an in app purchase not worth it but I love the app now that I've got the actual full version I just want more Harp related stuff glissandi pedal notation enharmonics harmonics chords broken blocked anything you can think of anything Harp related and make it sound like an actual harp it sounds like a piano version of a harp give it four finger notation instead of five I want to be able to write my own music this is a wonderful app the HarpSS sounds OK at best but it needs to have a lot more work
don't forget to add lever changes not everyone plays a pedal Harp luckily I have both a pedal and lever harp
BTW please make the app more voiceover accessible I'm legally blind and have other disabilities I still want to be able to use the app even if I should lose all my vision I would love it to have full voiceover Accessibility that way I can still use the app should my vision go in the future it's unlikely but… You never know

This is not okay.
I downloaded this to do a college assignment and it wouldn’t let me email it out. I missed the assignment date and got a zero because of it, and it wouldn’t let me import my piece I made from the free version of this app either. I want my money back 30 dollars is so not okay.

Pro version now showing adverts which is a pain having paid to be advert free as well as get the longer playback
Good app but back up your data
When a customer is transfer if you the pro version, please fix the bug that deletes their current work. Otherwise, have a warning pop up that directs them to the tutorial that tells them how to properly transfer files made in the free version. I understand there is a way to save files when transferring to pro, but finding out about that big AFTER you’ve gone to pro and lost your files doesn’t really help anyone.

Love It!!
It has made composing music so much easier. Its a quick and simple way of writing music especially on the go. One thing I might add to this already well-done app is more support for the percussions drum kit. Adding ghost notes and other forms of notation. Thank you for all your work!
So far Great but
So far I really like this app. Easy to you. I used the trial version to write my song, upgraded to to pro , but my song is not there. That is very frustrating. Don’t want to have to redo the whole song. I have tried to export, but it says I should upgrade to the Pro version...kind of a vicious circle. Any suggestions?

This app is, by far, the best way to write music on your phone. Everything is so simple, yet your composition options are endless! The play back is instant and the sound quality is awesome (especially for horn and piano)! I’ve had that app for over 4 years, and every update made me love it more! Amazing app 10/10

It doesn't seem possible to upgrade to the new version of the app for free. This is very frustrating, and I will write a more positive review if the situation is remedied.
