Thanks for the feedback, and sorry for the frustration. ScoreCam doesn't have a scoreboard font option yet. I've added it to the list to consider. If you can email us at pachysoft@gmail.com with what was glitchy (and a crash report if the app quit), I'd like to get it fixed for you.

I purchased the annual
Subscription. Once I purchased and I tried to set this up, I got messages showing how this is not compatible with Facebook. The only reason I got this was to stream video in our parent group on Facebook. There are all kinds of warnings to not use this product with Facebook. However, I didn’t see those anywhere until after I paid. I haven’t been able to find any kind of customer support to address this. I wouldn’t recommend for anyone thinking about using this with Facebook. I can’t speak on any other platforms.
Update: I don’t remember how long ago I left this review but I received an email today July 12, 2026 in response to my 1 star review. The email response was not to provide any new assistance just to direct me to the messages about why Facebook was not suitable. The same messages you can’t see until after you pay. It’s been so long since I left the review that I had forgotten all about this horrible product. Well I’m here to update my review but still cannot give ZERO stars so I’ll stick to one and remind anyone reading this that the customer service for this app might be the absolute worst in any industry that I’ve ever experienced. Can’t believe I got that email. SMH

We're sorry, and we hear the frustration here. Facebook isn't an official streaming integration like YouTube or Twitch, it requires manual RTMP setup due to Facebook's own platform restrictions, and that distinction should be clearer before purchase. We'll take a look at improving that visibility. Hockey Streaming
I’ve been using scorecam along with the companion remote app for several years and love it. I’ve recommended it to several other travel teams over the years. I’m currently streaming for Northview High School Varsity hockey in Sylvania, Ohio. Feel free to visit Northview Hockey on YouTube. My only complaint would be the lack of an external zoom remote connectivity. I would love to be about to zoom in and out more fluidity during a game. It would also be great to have more branding spots. The current limit of 2 is not enough. I’m hoping you are still actively supporting this great app and would consider my enhancement request.

Fantastic Youth Sports Streaming and Recording App
Great app with many advantages over others like the ability to record matches with a scoreboard locally while using a second device to score without relying on internet access. Brilliant! HEVC also works for streaming very well - excellent picture quality stream to YouTube at sustained 1.3MB/s. I just wish the Volleyball Scoreboard was a little more full featured (serving indicator, timeout indicator, end set button that increments sets won and resets set score, etc. Ability to set number of sets per match and indicator a winner on screen with match score summary would also be nice.

Another sports cam that doesn’t work
Sure it works for 5 minutes. Then it crashes and you can’t recover your videos. Support is non existant. Does any of these apps actually work?
Great Camera for sports
The camera is intuitive but the built in scoreboard and ability to store clips while you are recording the game is top notch!
Great app but could be better
This is a great app for filming sports but I wish you didn’t have to pay to get different scoreboards.I like how their are different options but wish they were free.
Live streaming is poor, after 2 years still poor
Support and ability to live stream onto social media platforms is the poorest of all the other apps. They need to step up their game.

Maybe the best livestream app, some tweaks to make it better imo
I livestream ice hockey games, a lot of the negative reviews I am reading here have not been an issue for me. So light work getting acquainted with the app and it is very easy to use. The Bluetooth remote app that was made for this app also helps a ton!
Here are some ideas to improve the app in my opinion.
Please add ability to manually adjust white balance and camera focus.
More options to customize scoreboard, interchange some of the options (clock/penalty clock/penalty clock description) between sports into a simple linear option or stacked corner option. Just think how the pros game look...that's what I want to replicate. Maybe a ribbon that goes across the bottom of the screen (full screen left to right).
Scoreboard team logo options. Maybe I want the logo to appear as a backdrop with a lower opacity, but current display works well too. Sizing of logo can be difficult to manipulate at times. Usually I can save a team logo from a simple google search. Sometimes I need to adjust in photoshop or express.
What would also be great is to be able to save some presets to my account. I don't want to recreate what I had if I want to experiment with scoreboard options.

Thank you for the thoughtful feedback and for giving ScoreCam and the Remote a fair shake! Manual white balance/focus, more scoreboard layout flexibility, a full-width ribbon option, logo backdrop opacity, and cloud-saved presets are all great ideas. Please submit these through the app's support option so we can track each one properly. One quick note: Scoreboard Profiles already let you save and switch between named scoreboard setups, so that part of your request may already be covered, worth checking out if you haven't seen it.
One of the best livestream apps available! Some adjustments can make it perfect!
I have been livestreaming ice hockey with ScoreCam for two years now and 3 teams. The ability to select from multiple scoreboards, showcase team logos, penalty clock, shots count, and image overlays all with a remote via bluetooth sets this streaming app apart from the rest!
What can make it better?
- better ability to adjust camera focus and white balance. The auto and locking ability makes little to no difference at all. White ice in some hockey rinks can come up super bright, and there is no way to adjust white balance or exposure for viewers.
There is no ability to adjust the focus beyond the auto focus. Not to get too specific but some rinks have black netting along the perimeter of the ice and with a white ice backdrop it can really mess with camera focus that can't be corrected with auto focus.
Other apps allow a highlight clip with the ability to play it back during the livestream which could be cool for viewer experience.
Ultimately it's all scoreboard that sets a livestream apart from just using Facebook or YouTube. Added ability to customize the scoreboard options, shape, colors etc. make this app so great! Thank you!

Amazing app
I have been recording soccer, football, and hockey games and this app has helped me with live streaming score. The $10 PRO version for life is worth it! Thank you for this app.
Helps record school games
I've been using ScoreCam to record my kid's school water polo games and it makes the videos look much better than raw recordings; also, saving the highlights by two fingers tap is so much easier than editing the video later after the game.
The app does not support water polo rules out of the box, but is configurable enough so I could use one of the scoreboard designs to accomodate quarters, game clock, and 30 sec shot clock. Would be nice to have 20 sec ejection timer too but, I guess, maybe they will add something later.
Tracking the time and score during the game requires some attention but is very similar to running the real clock so if you have any experience doing that, you won't have any issues with the app interface.
Would be great to have some minor features added, such as a possibility to automatically stop the game clock and reset shot clock on goal!

Thank you for the thoughtful review. Glad the scoreboard configurability made water polo work well, and the two-finger highlight tap is saving you editing time. The 20 second ejection timer and auto-stop clock on goal are great suggestions, please submit them through the app's support option so we can track them for a future update.
Crashing since iOS 26 and 26.1 beta. Unusable.
Please fix the issue. We live by ScoreCam! It is an indispensable tool!
