The app is user friendly. The lessons are structured well, with good reinforcement exercises.
App freezes
I’d love to say this a great app, but unfortunately, I’ve had repeated issues with it all day. Every time I open the app on my iPad, I cannot select anything on the screen, chapters, the library, or profile. The background music plays, but that’s it. I have uninstalled and re-installed the app several times with the same result. I created a new account on my iPad and it worked for less time than my initial process. It froze right as I was making a score.
Aside from the issues it was fun and I learned a lot while it lasted.

Old Lady learns New Tricks
I just started this app but can all ready identify whole, quarter and half notes along with a middle C and a few others by sight and sound. I’m 51 and have never played nor read music so this is a big deal for me. It’s kind of like DuoLingo for music (minus the threatening owl.) I’m sure kids would respond well to this game like format- it’s keeping my ADHD brain engaged if that means anything. I’ll update my review once I’ve been at it for longer but so far I think it’s great!
