Truthful and Timely Communication
Every scout, leader, and parent as well as every volunteer needs truthful and timely communication. How it’s presented is equally important. Scouting Magazine, its journalist, administrators, and staff are equally as accountable as they are truthful and timely. The information is useful easy to read and very much appreciated. Respectfully, David Proctor, Raven District Chairman, Sam Houston Area Council.

You define content you want
Great resource and you can now filter to get only the content you want. Great magazine now with easier access.
Existing Subscription & Current Edition
Where is the current Jan-Feb 2020 edition I received in the mail? I would expect that the electronic edition would be available at the same time or before the p ring edition and snail mail. Also, why charge additional for the e-edition. I prefer electronics only and the print and mail savings should offer some if not all of the e-edition costs.

Amazing depth of content, but no search?
It is amazing to have access to the entire archive of Scouting magazine, and the price is great!
I don’t even mind that I can’t link to my existing subscription.
What I don’t understand is the user interface. There should be some way to find issues of interest, and a way to access different years of the magazine without flipping past every issue ever published.

No option to link my subscription
Unlike the Boys Life app there is no option to link my subscription. I’ve already paid for a subscription but can’t view any of my content with this app.
No linking option
I’m a current subscriber, why is there not an option to link like there is with Boy’s Life? Poor decision BSA.
Bad subscription service
I paid the $4.99 for the year subscription but when I try to read the most recent issue I am offered a limited time "free access" then I am asked to pay $3.99 to continue reading the issue. What's the point of the subscription?
It's a start...
Couple things missing from the app:
1. There's no linking to an existing subscription, like for Boy's Life; that needs to be added since a subscription has already been paid for and the content is the same.
2. There's no "Search" function (at least in the preview), so a reader has to thumb through the content as if holding the paper version; that needs to be added to take advantage of searching through the soft copy.

A century of content!
It's cool to look back on how much has changed (and how much hasn't) over the past 100+ years, through the lens of the BSA. A bargain price for a great resource.
Great resource for leaders
Scouting magazine gives me ideas to enhance my troop and keeps me informed about the latest Scouting news. Accessing it on my iPad and iPhone only makes my life easier.
Wow! What a deal!
The entire archive of one of the best teaching, leadership and parenting magazines around plus access to every new issue? Yes! Thank you, BSA, for making this available at a great and fair subscription price.
